The bedroom was far too hot (28C at night) , it was not even a hot day (22C, no sunshine). You cannot open the window to get some fresh air in so basically you breath in stale air . We felt sick. Apparently it is a recurrent problem every summer and management is not interested to fix it, they just give you a fan which moves the stale air around. I cannot even imagine what it must be on a hot day... Staff was friendly and room was nice.

Room was clean, staff were friendly. Set up more for a couple rather than a family ie only 2 mugs, 2 towels, 2 spare pillows. (Obviously enough beds though) Food for breakfast was convenient but only okay. Not impressed with evening meal didn't eat here the second night. Worked for a cheap couple of nights to sleep for a couple of days out with the kids.

In my experience Premier Inn is always dependable - reliably quiet rooms (great sound proofing so a good night's kip), friendly helpful staff, spotless room, lashings of hot water, big telly - and easy free parking. Great value too - and in areas that are useful for overnight stays.

Bed was lovely, customer service really good! I wouldn't normally eat at the hotel but on this occasion I did and the meal east lovely. Location was only a mile from where I needed to be for business. I would return. Lots of amenities local to the hotel, fuel, etc.

Everything was exactly as they explained it would be. Clean, neat, warm and professional. Bed was a bit hard. Staff very helpful. Plenty of parking bays. Booking was easy and everything was ready when we arrived. There was easy access to the restaurant from the reception area.

Room great. Evening meal absolutely awful! Burnt Calamari starter in a tiny dish...shows a big helping on a plate on the menu! Don't bother complaining! Staff lie! Asked what qualifications I had to judge the cooking oil! Never again! The Premier Inn part is superb! What a contrast!!!

Fabulous hotel with great staff in perfect location for our needs. Breakfast was cooked to order and was wonderful. We stay during the bad snow and weather and the staff checked and ensured we were able to get out the carpark and were generally helpful during our stay.

Short stay - staff were friendly, easy check in/out, basic facility room. The bed matress was comfy and flexi thermostat. There was a ceiling leak in our room, seem to be coming from a vent? We contacted staff about it but wasn't fixed/solved and we weren't given alternatives in part of this issue whilst we had to stay in a room where there's water leaking from the ceiling. I think next time, moving to a room that wasnt leaking or fixing the issue

I regularly travel around the country, and have noted that the Premier Inn chain has established itself as being very consistent and meeting the right balance between price and standard. This hotel provides modern rooms that are perfectly suited for business travellers who just need a clean, well equipped place to stay with reliable wi-fi for an overnight stay. There is an eatery attached, and it provides the usual pub basics if you don't want to travel out.

The staff Alice and John at the premiere inn Ashby de la zouch on 19th and 20th December were absolutely amazing i cannot express how nice and helpful and polite and also the bar staff we was there for a funeral they was so understanding thankyou highly recommend

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Ashby de la Zouch for one night in December. It is located on the outskirts of the town next to a retail park and very close by is a petrol station and a few eating places. The hotel has a large car park which they share with the Brewer's Fayre pub/restaurant next door. Parking is free but you have to input your car registration details on a pad at reception. Check-in was fine. We were allocated Room 11 on the ground floor. I was amazed that this room was extremely quiet even though you could hear quite a lot of traffic noise when outdoors. The room was just what you expect of a Premier Inn. Large double bed, small desk area and a small clothes storage area. There was an extra single bed (suitable for a child, I suppose). There was a tv, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was adequate with a shower over the bath, large bath towels and a couple of toiletries in dispensers. There is no telephone in the room but the hotel has a 24-hour manned reception. Our only problem with this stay was that the room was extremely cold on entry. We put the electric wall heater on but it took ages to get the room temperature up. When we got up in the morning, again, the room was really cold and by the time we checked out it had hadn’t really reached a warm, comfortable level. I am not sure if the hotel was having heating problems but nothing was said when checking in. One other minor complaint, they did not have any de-caffeinated coffee. Other than the above, the stay was comfortable and I would not hesitate staying here again if I needed a room in Ashby.

Thank you Premier Inn for a lovely, comfortable and peaceful stay. The two Receptionists we chatted to were very helpful and professional. There were plenty of car parking spaces. We will definitely be staying again would recommend staying here.

Evening meal and breakfast Exceptionally poor. Our evening meals were barely luke warm spoiling completely. Given we hadn't eaten since 6am and a long day at the NEC show, we were hungry and ate it. Complained to service manager who said nothing. Same in the morning for breakfast. Food was quite cold. Forgot some of items too. Offered to bring some after I had cleared my plate. Useless. Service manager said he would go and speak with the cook. He went in to the kitchen and walked straight through to reception area! Unlikey We we would use this hotel again. Overall 2/10 for meals.

Reception staff helpful and courteous. The room was clean. My biggest issue is the way premier inn make a big deal about the mattresses being of good quality and helping a good nights sleep yet they cannot follow the mattress instructions. They should be turned every 3 months but they aren’t (see photo). We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food.
