The bedroom was far too hot (28C at night) , it was not even a hot day (22C, no sunshine). You cannot open the window to get some fresh air in so basically you breath in stale air . We felt sick. Apparently it is a recurrent problem every summer and management is not interested to fix it, they just give you a fan which moves the stale air around. I cannot even imagine what it must be on a hot day... Staff was friendly and room was nice.

Fabulous hotel with great staff in perfect location for our needs. Breakfast was cooked to order and was wonderful. We stay during the bad snow and weather and the staff checked and ensured we were able to get out the carpark and were generally helpful during our stay.

Short stay - staff were friendly, easy check in/out, basic facility room. The bed matress was comfy and flexi thermostat. There was a ceiling leak in our room, seem to be coming from a vent? We contacted staff about it but wasn't fixed/solved and we weren't given alternatives in part of this issue whilst we had to stay in a room where there's water leaking from the ceiling. I think next time, moving to a room that wasnt leaking or fixing the issue

I regularly travel around the country, and have noted that the Premier Inn chain has established itself as being very consistent and meeting the right balance between price and standard. This hotel provides modern rooms that are perfectly suited for business travellers who just need a clean, well equipped place to stay with reliable wi-fi for an overnight stay. There is an eatery attached, and it provides the usual pub basics if you don't want to travel out.

The staff Alice and John at the premiere inn Ashby de la zouch on 19th and 20th December were absolutely amazing i cannot express how nice and helpful and polite and also the bar staff we was there for a funeral they was so understanding thankyou highly recommend

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Ashby de la Zouch for one night in December. It is located on the outskirts of the town next to a retail park and very close by is a petrol station and a few eating places. The hotel has a large car park which they share with the Brewer's Fayre pub/restaurant next door. Parking is free but you have to input your car registration details on a pad at reception. Check-in was fine. We were allocated Room 11 on the ground floor. I was amazed that this room was extremely quiet even though you could hear quite a lot of traffic noise when outdoors. The room was just what you expect of a Premier Inn. Large double bed, small desk area and a small clothes storage area. There was an extra single bed (suitable for a child, I suppose). There was a tv, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was adequate with a shower over the bath, large bath towels and a couple of toiletries in dispensers. There is no telephone in the room but the hotel has a 24-hour manned reception. Our only problem with this stay was that the room was extremely cold on entry. We put the electric wall heater on but it took ages to get the room temperature up. When we got up in the morning, again, the room was really cold and by the time we checked out it had hadn’t really reached a warm, comfortable level. I am not sure if the hotel was having heating problems but nothing was said when checking in. One other minor complaint, they did not have any de-caffeinated coffee. Other than the above, the stay was comfortable and I would not hesitate staying here again if I needed a room in Ashby.

Thank you Premier Inn for a lovely, comfortable and peaceful stay. The two Receptionists we chatted to were very helpful and professional. There were plenty of car parking spaces. We will definitely be staying again would recommend staying here.

Evening meal and breakfast Exceptionally poor. Our evening meals were barely luke warm spoiling completely. Given we hadn't eaten since 6am and a long day at the NEC show, we were hungry and ate it. Complained to service manager who said nothing. Same in the morning for breakfast. Food was quite cold. Forgot some of items too. Offered to bring some after I had cleared my plate. Useless. Service manager said he would go and speak with the cook. He went in to the kitchen and walked straight through to reception area! Unlikey We we would use this hotel again. Overall 2/10 for meals.

Reception staff helpful and courteous. The room was clean. My biggest issue is the way premier inn make a big deal about the mattresses being of good quality and helping a good nights sleep yet they cannot follow the mattress instructions. They should be turned every 3 months but they aren’t (see photo). We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food.

The cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel during 50 years of travelling. Nice and comfy bed and not too heavy quilt. Good pillows too. Heating easy to control and shower a pleasure to use. Despite the Premier Inn being quite full the room was very soundproofed and we had an undisturbed night. The meal deal worked well for us with no complaints about the food or service. Breakfast with the deal allowed us continental and cooked. Unlimited drinks as well. The self service coffee machine produced top grade, freshly ground coffee which couldn't be faulted. All in all an experience to be repeated and highly recommended.

The rooms are very nice and you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Bed is comfortable so helps you get goodish sleep and helps to relax during the day if you are not too busy Very quiet Staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Prices are okay Breakfast is scrumptious and very varied, very helpful to those with allergies Wonderful weekend away. Recommend

As usual the nights stay in a premier inn is very good. There's all you need in the room and it's so quiet you have a good sleep. Will use again if in the area. It's in a good plot close to the centre of town. Ashby is a good town with lots of shops and eateries.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable after a soiled bath towel had been replaced. Unfortunately it was impossible to reduce the temperature below 22 degrees in the room and the window couldn’t be left open at night due to noise from the road. Breakfast in the Brewers Fayre was acceptable and the lady in charge was very efficient. The evening meal was a different matter. The first night my Smothered Chicken was overcooked and dry and the edges were blackened. There was no sign of the cheese or BBQ sauce. The second night I had haddock and chips. The mushy peas were solid and hard. The fish was over cooked and only edible with the tartare sauce. I had to leave the batter as it was too hard to eat. I would have sent it back but it would have spoilt our final night and we had small children with us. Service was slow. Our meal was booked for 4.30 pm and it was after 6.10 pm before we got our desserts.

A warm greeting by the lady receptionist,i was all sorted in a matter of minutes and then asked would i like to book a meal in the restaurant and what time and asked what time would i like my breakfast as i had pre booked that . I was not pressured in to getting an evening meal but decided to have one . I got up-to my room Clean and just what i needed.i had booked the meal in the a-joining brewers fayre restaurant i choose scampi chips and peas they were busy but it came hot and tasty and i did not have to wait for a long time . my waitress Saran was attentive and did check back to see if all ok. Slept like a log, breakfast full english hot tasty and well presented would recommend you stop off here should you need to. Thank you will be booking again
