Unser Aufenthalt im Luxus-Boutique-Hotel in Sri Lanka war außergewöhnlich und übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Die Gastfreundschaft des Personals war herausragend, mit einer ständigen Präsenz von freundlichem Lächeln und aufmerksamem Service, der unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machte. Die Effizienz des Reinigungsservices war bemerkenswert; unser Zimmer war stets makellos, oft gereinigt, während wir das Frühstück genossen. Die Hotelanlage bot einen beeindruckenden, großzügigen Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Strand, der für Entspannung und Erholung ideal war. Die Ausstattung, einschließlich der komfortablen Liegen, trug wesentlich zu einem entspannten Ambiente bei. Die Unterbringung in der Villa bot ein hohes Maß an Komfort und Privatsphäre, mit einer ansprechenden Kombination aus lokaler Architektur und modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Das kulinarische Angebot des Hotels war von hoher Qualität, mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl an Gerichten, die sowohl lokale als auch internationale Küche umfassten und stets frisch und geschmackvoll präsentiert wurden. Zusammenfassend bot unser Aufenthalt eine perfekte Mischung aus exzellentem Service, hervorragender Unterbringung und erstklassiger Gastronomie, eingebettet in eine malerische Umgebung. Besondere Dank gilt dem stets freundlichen und sympathischen Team vom Front-Office Management Nichan und Wathsala.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön wir wohnten vier Tage in einer Beach-Villa mit traumhaftem Meerblick. An der ein oder anderen Stelle fällt allerdings auf, dass die Villen schon etwas älter sind. Das Personal hat sich stehts viel Mühe gegeben, besonders unser Buttler Milan ist hervorzu heben. Die Portionen zum Abendessen könnten etwas größer sein ;)

it literally stands to its name. a 50 people capacity in 12 villas with personal pools and an awesome central pool in a tropical garden on a perfect pvt beach. away from the crowd. maybe too peaceful for those who want more cos its an hour from anywhere! the highlight is the chef who should have got a michelin star by now and the staff. everyone ready to do anything to make ur stay super. meals served at ur villa or in the restaurant by the beach. u decide. our attendant Akas Nawodaya never slept i think!!! he was always there ready and happy to serve as was every other staff who despite certain jobs to do were always willing to do whatever was needed. with 3 wheelchair ridden parents, i couldnt have asked for more!!!!!!

The area was beautiful with an amazing view at the beach. The rooms were massive and you get your own private pool and hot tub which was really cool. There is a wide variety of food to choose from which was great as I could try different meals from all over the world. I would definitely go again and highly recommend it; it is a hidden treasure.

Recently, we had an amazing stay at Serene Pavilion, specifically in the Ocean Pavilion. It’s a beautiful beachfront accommodation, ideal for honeymoons. We experienced a serene atmosphere with a plunge pool, and a jacuzzi. Despite a minor hiccup with the Air Conditioner, the prompt response from the maintenance staff, along with a considerate late check-in, showcased their commitment to guest satisfaction. Our only regret is not extending our stay at this romantically secluded retreat.

For a moment I wondered whether I was in the same hotel I had heard about and described in so many wonderful reviews here in TripAdvisor! I agree, that the tranquility this place offers is fantastic. The separate pavilions are large with spacious living, dining areas, kitchenette, veranda overlooking the sea, private plunge pool, and an enormous bedroom with an equally huge washroom with jacuzzi. All amenities were available. The bed and the bed linen was comfy. The landscaped garden around the swimming pool was a pleasure to look at. Architecturally, it looked as if inspired by famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. What was surprising however, was the appalling service & the food quality not in keeping with the standard expected of a ‘luxury boutique hotel with a star rating’. They seemed to be severely short-staffed. The staff on duty, starting from the front desk, appeared to be untrained and lacking in professionalism and experience. Perhaps they were untrained temporary recruits from the neighborhood! The Menu was limited and poorly planned (eg. Hot butter calamari under the main course lacked any accompaniments!). Food choice & the food quality was mediocre to say the least. The ‘Sri Lankan breakfast’ was no better than what you would get from a roadside restaurants serving the traveller. There was no table setting, no table linen, or not even paper serviettes. They were provided only on ‘request’. Cleanliness of the crockery was questionable. They were full of fingerprints! Food was served without cutlery, which was brought in only after pointing it out. There were no dinner rolls to go with the soup. Instead, it was served with soggy slices of bread toasted, probably a few hours ago. The cocktail ordered was watery and was not cold enough clearly mixed by someone with no experience. Simply, there was no attempt to maintain any standards. This was not the the experience one would expect from a luxury boutique hotel! I am aware, that several years back, this place was considered exclusive and unique among Sri Lankan hotels of this class. It was sad to see the deterioration. I do not blame blame the staff for the shortcoming. They try their best to serve the customers with the limited resources (training & material) available available to them. Either the current ownership & the management are not familiar with what a ‘luxury boutique experience’ means or they do not give a damn as long as money keeps coming!

We had a most wonderful and relaxing stay at this excellent resort. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. And the bathroom with the jaccuzi was amazing. The view from the bedroom upstairs looking out to the ocean was fantastic and soothing. Last not but least Lashita Imeshan provided us with excellent service.

We came to celebrate our anniversary, and we had the BEST time. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable. The hotel is spectacular, clean rooms and beautiful gardens. They were willing to cater to all our needs without any hesitation. Food was amazing! hats off to butler Nilan for being there at our beck and call throughout the stay. I’ve been to many 5 star hotels in SL and I can truly say nothing compared to my experience at Serene Pavilions. Highly recommended :)

We love going to Serene pavilions because of the open space and the quietness and the peaceful setting it provides. You're secluded in your little villa. And if you want to venture out the main pool it is big and a really nice place to chill with am in built jacuzzi as well. And the beach is quiet as well. The staff at the hotel is exceptional from the reception to the restaurant staff to the butlers to the pool attendants they're all really friendly amd provides am exceptional service. A special mention to Akash who provided a great service. He was attentive to all our needs and was friendly. And always willing to help with our needs. The food was average. The nasi we got for lunch was not tasty. The rice was still a little raw amd the prawn satay was dry. But Spaghetti my little one got was yummy. And sadly there was no Sri lankan rice and curry option for lunch. And the brownies for dessert was good too. Dinner we ordered lamb chops a fish steak and it was good. Traditional breakfast was good too. The food needs to be improved. We come to hotels specially for the food. We will definitely be visiting again. See you soon.

Amazing hotel with private pools. Our private butler Akash was so helpful 24/7. It’s so good to have a designated person who helps with all your needs. The villa is well designed for a luxury homely experience.

Hello, I was pleased to visit the resort. It is elegant, clean and quiet, and it is especially useful for families who want to spend a holiday in this same resort. The villa was very, very wonderful and the food was delicious.

The resort is beautiful and located in a stunning setting. We stayed at this property for one night in one of their ocean-view villas. Our room was clean and comfortable. However, the property could use a bit more maintenance, and the hotel reception looked rather dull. We didn’t have Wi-Fi in the room, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the food and drinks were excellent. Our butler, Manjula, was very kind and provided fabulous service. However, our villa lacked privacy. The ground staff could be seen walking past the villa, even when we were in the private pool or the living area.

We had a great experience at Serene Pavilion during our visit. From the front desk all the way to the checkout the process was seamless and smooth. The Villa was well maintained and spotless. The staffs attention to detail is spot on and our butler "Menuka" made our stay an amazing one! 5 starts to Menuka for providing an excellent friendly service, attending to all our needs just one message away. He made sure to go above and beyond to provide us with everything we need to make us feel comfortable. The chefs prepared delicious food both yummy and appealing to the eyes. The amenities at the property were great and upto standard. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a private, relaxing getaway not too far from Colombo.
