Shanghai Jinshanzui Fishing Village

Shanghai Jinshanzui Fishing Village is located in Jinshan District, Shanghai, on the coast of Hangzhou Bay. It is the earliest and most well-preserved fishing village on the coast of Shanghai, and the last fishing village in Shanghai. It faces the three islands of Jinshan across the sea. It is famous for its beautiful coastal scenery, rich seafood, and profound traditional fishing culture. The coastal lookout is a landmark building in the fishing village. It is cylindrical, 6 meters high, and a must-see for tourists. The Zhulang Pavilion is also a landmark building on Jinshanzui Old Street, reflecting the romantic feelings of fishermen fighting against the waves. It is a 4A-level free scenic spot. Unfortunately, in recent years, a new sea barrier has been built, pushing the sea water out for several kilometers. The original sea is no longer visible, only a vast expanse of reeds and solitary smoke.
