I felt like I am roaming somewhere in Europe and all the major attractions from there were here. The colorful houses, fountains and serene atmosphere really made it a great trip for Valentine’s Day. There is so much to do here such as the Kiss Bridge, world’s longest cable car and multimedia shows such as KISS of the Sea. You can easily spend a day here and click plenty of pictures or explore different avenues such as Positano street or the night market. This is a must visit attraction in Phu Quoc.

My time in Phu Quoc has come to an end. Two months on this island flew by, but now it’s time to move on. Very soon, I’ll be heading to a new country, but for now, here are my final thoughts on living in Phu Quoc. ✅ What did I like the most? 1. Laid-back lifestyle. It’s easy to forget about the hustle, listen to the waves, and simply enjoy the moment. 2. Sunsets & nature. Every evening is a free natural show, and it never gets old. 3. Food & markets. Phu Quoc is a paradise for seafood lovers and exotic fruit enthusiasts. 4. Work-life balance. Mornings can be productive for work, while afternoons are perfect for exploring the island. ❌ What wasn’t so great? 1. Infrastructure. The island is still developing, and there’s no public transport. A scooter is the only convenient way to get around. 2. Rising prices. Phu Quoc is becoming more popular, which means higher rent and food prices in tourist areas. 3. Limited entertainment. After a couple of months, the island starts feeling predictable—most key places have been explored, and a change of scenery is needed. Phu Quoc was a perfect reset for me—a place where I found inspiration, peace, and balance. But the most important part of the digital nomad lifestyle is movement. #Date spot The city that is known as the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in Vietnam has many impressive photo spots, such as the Thang Rong Flower Stairs, which is opposite the clock tower. The stairs are S-shaped and winding along the street. Many people come to queue up to take pictures and check in. Pink trumpet flowers are planted on the side of the stairs. It is a quiet city. The higher you go up to a point or building with a high rooftop, the view will be beautiful. The light is very soft. The best time to visit is from December to March. The weather will be a little cool, but it is still hot during the day. But I recommend checking the weather before coming every time. Transportation In this city, there are golf carts. You can hail them on the side of the road or call a Grab/Taxi. Or if you like to walk, you can walk to various places. It was a real treat to enjoy wine, sweets and snacks with such a view. All the staff were always very courteous and willing to help. First of all, the location is great! The beach is right in front of the restaurant and you can enjoy your meal while looking at the beautiful blue ocean. I ordered fried shrimp and seafood pizza. It was happy hour so we got one free iced tea. The seafood pizza was so large that we shared it between the two of us and it filled us up! Delicious all the way to the edges. The shrimp also had a nice texture and was spicy and delicious. It was very relaxing to eat while listening to the sound of the ocean. I set off for a 5-day and 4-night trip to Phu Quoc Island in early December... I stayed in four hotels on the 5th day~ The hotels had been booked a few months ago, so I had completely forgotten about them before departure 😂 Actually, the main purpose of this trip was Relax~ No special itinerary planned! Traveling to Phu Quoc Island generally involves going to the north, central and south, or island hopping. It takes about 2 hours to drive from north to south. The airport is located in the middle, so it is recommended to stay near the airport on the first or last night. 🚕Transportation: call Grab ☀️Weather: May-October rainy season, December-April will be relatively dry, and the temperature does not vary much throughout the year Day1 Hong Kong Airport to Phu Quoc Island - Afternoon flight, it was already 7pm when we arrived at Phu Quoc Island.
