We visited Volkshochschule Frankfurt, where we exchanged ideas, expertise, and explored exciting opportunities for future collaboration. 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 The recent three-day training as part of the MIND project (Mindfulness and Critical Thinking for Adults) brought together participants from Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Romania to delve into the world of critical thinking. Over the course of this workshop, partners and educators exchanged ideas, explored innovative methods, and worked on integrating critical thinking into adult education. Through interactive sessions and collaborative activities, the training aimed to create practical tools in order to enhance reflective and analytical skills in adult learners. The exchange of perspectives and shared experiences across different countries highlighted the importance of critical thinking in addressing modern challenges and empowering individuals in lifelong learning. This event marked another important step in our journey to innovate and enrich adult education. 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 From 22nd to 24th October, participants from across Europe gathered in an inspiring international workshop titled “Life Wellness for Busy People: Role of the Wellness Coach,” the workshop was designed to equip future advisers with mindfulness and self-awareness tools to better support adults in their personal and professional growth. What we accomplished: ✔️ we explored mindfulness practices to enhance focus, emotional intelligence, and resilience. ✔️ we engaged in self-reflection activities to uncover personal values and strengths. ✔️ we developed practical tools for stress management and well-being. ✔️ we fostered collaboration and shared innovative methods to improve adult education and wellness coaching. This three-day event underscored the importance of mindfulness as a cornerstone for personal development and a key resource in guiding others toward balanced and fulfilling lives. PICTURES (Professional Interventions for Young Adults in Correctional Systems) is a European initiative bringing a fresh approach to education and support for emerging adults in correctional settings. The project aims to professionalize practitioners, develop innovative teaching methods, and create a shared European framework to enhance rehabilitation and reduce recidivism. This time, we’re gathering in beautiful Opatija! Učilište Dante is proud to host the second partner meeting, welcoming 15 partners from 10 EU countries. Opatija provides the perfect setting for exchanging ideas and working on our shared mission: creating better opportunities for young adults through collaboration, innovation, and educational interventions. 𝗔 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲!  Among the four Croatian projects that received funding under the #ErasmusPlus call for Alliances for Innovation, our project RESIZE (Reshaping Correctional Competencies through RESCALED Innovation) stands out as a significant step towards enhancing skills for the future! The RESIZE project focuses on addressing skills gaps in the labor market through sectoral skills cooperation (Blueprint). Our goal is to take an innovative approach to developing and recognizing competencies, including the acknowledgment of prior learning and the implementation of micro-credentials, ensuring that current and future workers are well-prepared.
