"Respect the opportunity" has been on my mind since receiving the 2024 Seller of the Year award at Google earlier this week. It's a core mantra here - #respect the user, respect the opportunity, and respect each other. And while it might sound as just a corp slogan, it has had a huge impact on me lately. (Emotionally 😅) I never imagined my first full-time job would be at Google, let alone that I'd receive this recognition in my first year. If you'd told me our VP Shane Holland would hold a balloon with my face on it, I'd have thought it was a joke. 🙊 I like to believe that this achievement stems from my genuine passion for advising my #home country's market from within one of the world’s largest companies. So this achievement is as much my clients' as it is my own, and I am grateful for all the amazing relationships and success stories we have shared over the past year - this is what powered this award. 🙌 I’d also like to thank my manager, Momcilo Radovanovic, for empowering me and allowing space to share all the amazing success stories with the wider team, as well as my former manager, Nataliia Kushnir. We’re over the moon to share that our founders, Belma Gutlic and Magda Milas, have been recognized as part of the TOP 50 Women in Croatian ICT by the VIDI Awards! 🏆 This isn't just an award - it's validation of our mission. In just over two years, we’ve built a non-profit from the ground up, dedicated to empowering women in tech, with a strong focus on web3 and blockchain. Through initiatives like the Web3 Tales Conference and the FLUX Female Digital Creativity project (supported by the EU and Creative Europe), we’ve been connecting experts, enthusiasts, and changemakers across Croatia, the region, and beyond. What started as a vision to unite and uplift women in tech has grown into something truly impactful, and this recognition is an incredible motivator for what’s ahead. FLUX Blockchain Art Academy expanded its curriculum with a specialized workshop unpacking the creative possibilities of ChatGPT, bridging the intersection of artificial intelligence and artistic innovation. Led by our FLUX mentor, Damir First, this session dives into how our FLUX artists can leverage the power of generative AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance their creative process and artistic output 🎨💡 In response to our FLUX community's feedback, we've recognized the importance of empowering artists with advanced technological skills. In an era of rapid digital transformation, AI tools like ChatGPT represent more than just technological novelties—they are powerful catalysts for artistic innovation and creative exploration 👩💻 This session was open to both FLUX artists and the amazing members of Alice in Blockchains, expanding our collaborative learning opportunities across different creative communities 👭 During the workshop, Damir explored critical AI integration techniques for artists, including advanced prompting methods to generate original visual concepts, narratives, and artistic styles, as well as strategies for effectively integrating AI-powered content into the artistic workflow.
