Exciting days in Utrecht, where once again Klara Tuličić and I had the chance to present Slavonia at the largest Dutch fair for cycling and hiking - Fiets en Waldenbeurs! With over 24,000 outdoor enthusiasts, this was the perfect place to showcase our region’s potential in active and sustainable tourism. Alongside colleagues from Lika, Kvarner, Zadar, Šibenik-Knin, and Split-Dalmatia counties, and with the support of HTZ Amsterdam, we shared why Slavonia is a must-visit destination for those looking for untouched nature, great cycling and hiking trails, and rich local traditions. This year, it was also a pleasure to introduce Bikademy, a startup from Slavonia, to destinations and companies in cycling tourism and urban mobility. It’s always inspiring to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration!
