What keeps us happy, healthy, and increases our empathy levels? A gathering around good food, cooked with intention and enjoyed in the best company. This is exactly what transpired last night when 20 of our closest allies joined us for a Heartfelt Dinner. In an ever-changing world filled with uncertainties—where the incapable are often elevated to powerful positions, grassroots movements seem to lose their historical relevance, and the middle-class prioritizes the latest online show over everything else—the checks and balances for functional societies appear to be vanishing (if they ever existed). At Impact Hub Zagreb, we believe our strength lies in building supportive communities, in holding safe spaces for social innovation and positive impact, in defending freedom of expression and in guiding with example promoting respect and understanding. Over our nearly 13 years of existence, we continue to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what is possible. Yesterday, we witnessed stronger connections, which make us happier, healthier, and likely to . The quality of our relationships matters more than their quantity. Listening with intention is worth more than speaking without attention. Because to change the world, we must start by changing ourselves. It has been just three days since the conclusion of the first-ever #TheBreak Program in Croatia, and we are still in awe of the amazing connections and transformational changes that took place in #Zabok and #Samobor. The unstoppable force of 38 women entrepreneurs during their two-week residency in Croatia has left a lasting impression. Even after the program’s conclusion in Croatia, the impact continues to resonate. It feels as if the pieces of a complex puzzle are coming together perfectly—from the carefully designed program we created, the invaluable contributions of the facilitators, the outstanding pre-work and ongoing support from the EOI Business School, to the wholehearted participation of the lecturers and local hosting teams. And, of course, the uniqueness and authenticity of the incredible women participants shine through as they take the lead in shaping a new economy and society, built on values necessary for meaningful change. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this experience possible. Your courage, trust, and belief in creating strong, empathetic communities inspire us deeply. What happens when 38 women entrepreneurs from Spain join #TheBreakFellowhips in #Samobor and #Zabok? Great creative energy and amazing connections happen! We are proud to support and hold #TheBreak program from EOI Business School in Croatia for 2 weeks. Last Friday we had the visit of Ambassador of Spain to Croatia, H.E. Juan González-Barba Pera in the premises of our partner Centar urbane kulture REGENERATOR in Zabok to share not only her impressions on Croatia but to also listening to the entrepreneurs businesses and perspectives. We started last week with great content from Jasminka Mužinić, Johanna P., Iva Mia Krušlin, Ana Jergovic, Ivana Jelas, Tina Lee Odinsky-Zec, PhD, Milenka Zivkovic, Iva Čupić and Snjezana Kupres and continue this week with more content, meetups and a hackathon starting in Samobor today at the premises of Mali Tehnopolis Samobor. S ponosom možemo objaviti da su otvorene prijave za drugi ciklus STARTer i ZALET programa u suradnji s Impact Hub Zagreb 🤓 Čak 10 (budućih) poduzetnica uspješno je završilo prvi ciklus, od čega je nekoliko već krenulo s realizacijom i unaprijeđenjem svojih poduzetničkih ideja. Ovi programi dokazali su se kao izvrsna platforma za osobni i profesionalni rast, pružajući sudionicama potrebne alate, mentorstvo i podršku u pokretanju i razvoju njihovih poduzeća. 💡 Tools for Social and Impact-Driven Entrepreneurs! We’re excited to share insights from the CRAFT Project’s co-creation journey, where we focus on tools tailored for social innovators and impact-driven entrepreneurs. 🌍 Based on the business needs of Latvia, Romania, and Croatia, we've drafted an enhanced version of the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas by Strategyzer suited specifically for social innovators. This was developed in a co-creation ideation process with local participants. Here’s what we’ve improved: 🔹 Broader applicability: Designed for companies, NGOs, and hybrid entities, ensuring relevance across various organizational types. 🔹 Multi-target group focus: Adapting the value proposition to account for the complexity of addressing multiple target groups, common in social innovation. 🔹 Refined prompts: Rephrased questions and wording make the canvas easier to understand and apply in diverse contexts. Values-driven framework: Embedding the CRAFT community’s values, emphasizing mission-focus, stakeholder wellbeing, impact (positive and negative), and flexible financing models. 🔧 “We believe tools carry culture and values.
