3 Things we learned during our 3 days at boot: 1. Monomaran - What if you combined the monoboat of a sailboat with the space and stability of a catamaran? This is exactly what the Beneteau Groupe has done with their latest island cruising boat. With two prototypes built and one shipped to the Caribbean for further testing, Beneteau is targeting the charter sector with island destinations such as the Adriatic, Greece and the Mediterranean. 2. Liveaboard - If you've ever wanted to live on a yacht, now's your chance as the liveaboard concept grows in popularity. Alternatively, you can use it as a motorhome and sail for a week or two before returning to shore. 3. Vision Anchor - No more anchor anxiety. @VisionAnchor is an intelligent anchor buoy with real-time monitoring and anchor alarms to help you keep an eye on your anchor in all conditions. They won this year's Startup Pitch competition at boot Düsseldorf.
