In a significant win for the city, Municipiul Alba Iulia was recently named Romania's National Youth Capital for 2026. This prestigious designation is more than just a title. It represents a profound commitment to making Alba Iulia a vibrant, dynamic city where young people want to live, work, and thrive. Mayor Gabriel Pleșa and Councilor Sebastian Băeșan are doubling down on their dedication to revitalizing the city with an inclusive, youth-oriented vision. URBACT

What does it mean to be awarded with the title "NATIONAL YOUTH CAPITAL?" 👶 Well, to be honest - we don't know 🤐 But we know who knows. 🎉 The historic city of Alba Iulia, one of Residents of the Future | URBACT APN partners, has been named Romania's Youth Capital for 2026 with the program “#yoUthNITED. Can't wait to visit you, guys, and see what is it all about. Congrats!
