UNICEF Representative in Haiti, Geeta Narayan, visited a site hosting people who fled the recent escalation of armed violence in Port-au-Prince to express her support for the children and families affected by this crisis.   UNICEF, in partnership with MDM Argentina, has deployed a mobile clinic and continues to provide clean water, protection services, and psychosocial support to safeguard the health and well-being of vulnerable children. #HaitiCrisis #Haiti #UNICEF

UNICEF estimates that the number of children recruited by armed groups in Haiti has increased by 70% in the last year. This alarming rise is fueled by escalating violence, widespread poverty, lack of access to education, and the near collapse of essential infrastructure and social services.
