🚀 Reflecting on an extraordinary week! Last week, the DATA + AI World Tour brought together the best of the global data and AI community, and Munich was no exception. Here’s what made it unforgettable:
1️⃣ Pre-Event Networking with Databricks
The night before the big event, we teamed up with the fantastic Databricks sales team to host an exclusive, relaxed social gathering over Bavarian beers! 🍻 The turnout was incredible: more than 70 data and AI enthusiasts from 15+ companies joined us to share insights, swap stories, and discuss how they’re tackling today’s challenges with tomorrow’s technology. The passion in the room was undeniable, with conversations ranging from data infrastructure to the latest solutions in generative AI. Events like these remind us just how powerful in-person connections are in driving real-world innovation. Special thanks to Susan Tilgner, Alexander Helfer, Vanessa Neumann, Sebastian Arnold, Sebastian Fiedler, Tom Plewniak, Maria Kozyreva, Christian Krueger and many more for making this event happen!
2️⃣ Data + AI World Tour Munich: Our Biggest Year Yet
This year’s Munich event was on a whole new level, bringing in a much larger crowd and offering deeper, richer discussions than ever before. As sponsors, we were honored to be part of this incredible gathering. Here are just a few takeaways from the event that left us inspired:
Emerging Trends in Data Transformation: From real-time data processing to the latest in Lakehouse architectures, we gained insights into how industry leaders are tackling complex data challenges to make analytics faster, more scalable, and accessible.
Operationalizing Machine Learning and AI: We explored practical applications that are helping companies move from AI experimentation to fully operationalized, production-ready models. Hearing how different companies are navigating this path was both inspiring and enlightening.
Collaborative Innovation at Scale: A key theme was the importance of partnerships and ecosystems in advancing AI capabilities. As our industry continues to evolve, the power of collaboration—across teams, companies, and technologies—proves to be a catalyst for groundbreaking progress.
A huge thank you for this fascinating partnership and to everyone who made last week unforgettable! Special recognition to our incredible colleagues for their hard work and dedication on-site: József Tókos, Marcell Nemeth, Péter Boros, Péter Endes-Nagy, Rachid Rhyad Saboundji 🙌
A huge shoutout to the incredible Databricks team Ankush Korla, Petra Ras, Kori O'Brien, Hardy Köhler, Ryan Simpson, Andreas Frank, Travis Pütz, Mario Seefried, Linda Kohl Anton Vukovic and many others. Thank you for this amazing partnership!
