Diatron develops, manufactures and markets hematology and clinical chemistry analyzers and associated reagents for human medical and veterinary use. The company was founded in Budapest, Hungary, nearly 30 years ago and since its inception, has been at the forefront of laboratory diagnostics. Today, our product range includes hematology analyzers, hematology reagents (both for our own and other manufacturers’ analyzers), hematology control material, clinical chemistry analyzers, clinical chemistry reagents and controls. Throughout the world, the Diatron brand name has been established by our ability to manufacture high quality and reliable instruments resulting in our products being sold and marketed in more than 100 countries. Today, there are more than 40,000 of our analyzers in laboratory use and our customer base continues to grow strongly year after year. At Diatron we not only pride ourselves in the quality of our products but also in the quality of our support through our comprehensive product training programs and our excellent technical support and customer service teams. All Diatron products are CE marked and manufactured in large production lots in an ISO 9001 and 13485-certified production facility. In 2016, Diatron MI was acquired by Stratec Biomedical AG, a world leading partner for development and manufacturing of technological and scientific solutions for the life science industry and specializes in instrumentation, software and sample preparation products and services for in vitro diagnostics (IVD).

There was a lot going on in 2024 and we are fortunate to look back fondly on many memories and milestones. 📷 ✨ 1. 2024 was the first year of our brand new office in New Delhi, ensuring a place for meetings and trainings in the APAC region. 2. Diatron welcomed new colleagues who bring in new ideas and knowledge. 3. This year our incredible colleagues wrote several educational articles about topics like the dengue fever, diabetes and iron deffiency testing, or which anticoagulant to use. 4. In August, we hit 8.000 followers on LinkedIn. 5. Our Diatron Basketball team has formed and played their first season in the league. 🎵Deck the halls with boughs of holly🎵 and we did last week, except with faux pine! We decorated our site just in time for the holiday season. Every year we are decorating a Christmas tree while listening to some Christmas music that puts us in the festive mood. In Hungary, Santa Claus, a.k.a. the Mikulás, does not come on Christmas Eve rather on the 6th December. 🎅 When the Mikulás comes, children clean their boots and put them outside the door/window so he can find it while they are sleeping and place little sweets, fruits, nuts and toys if they were nice or a “virgács” (gold colored birch twigs) if naughty. #Diatron #SantaClausDay #Mikulás
