In addition to local creators, dozens of emerging talents and manufacturers received professional support through mentorship programs, while both domestic and international events provided opportunities for many to showcase their work. Through various programs and international collaborations, the Agency further developed the export potential of the fashion and design sector, bringing it one step closer to its goal of strengthening the domestic creative ecosystem. Budapest Central European Fashion Week is set to celebrate its 15th edition. Taking place between 10-16 February, 2025, BCEFW AW2526 will present the latest Autumn/Winter collections from nearly 50 established and emerging designers from Hungary and six neighboring countries. #hfdadesign The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is looking for the most imaginative concepts to design a collective Hungarian presence at Milan Design Week 2025. The Agency is looking for entries that fit the theme of the design week, while also showcasing Hungarian creative works in an innovative and sustainable way. All entries will be judged by a professional jury. Application is open until midnight at 19 January. Fashion industry novelties and programmes will invigorate the capital between the 10th and the 16th of February 2025. Preparations for the 15th Budapest Central European Fashion Week have already started, and, like each year, side events can join the event series again. This time, 11 Hungarian manufacturers from the fashion and other creative processing industries were given the opportunity to enhance their professional skills. The selected enterprises participated in a series of programs that included online webinars and personalized one-to-one consultations, guided by some of the most prominent experts in the domestic industry. Alongside the exhibitors from 17 countries, more than 20 Hungarian brands debuted at the event.
