  • We are integrating our business in Poland. MOL Group's wholesale and retail businesses will operate as one company. As part of the reorganisation, our subsidiary operating on the wholesale market, Slovnaft Polska will be incorporated into our retail operations conducted under the MOL Polska brand. This way we will be able to offer an even more comprehensive offer to our customers and partners in Poland. This is a corporate change, without affecting the binding agreements, the provisions of which remain in force. The formal merger will take place by the end of 2025. #MOLGroup

  • A major milestone: MOL Pakistan is celebrating its 25th anniversary of operations.   As a fully owned subsidiary of MOL Group, the company has been operating in the field of exploration and production in Pakistan since 1999 and it is now a key player of the country’s energy sector. It has been playing an important role not only in building the country’s Exploration & Production sector and contributing to its energy security, but it has also been positively impacting the lives of the local communities for two-and-a-half decades.   “The 25 year milestone reflects the dedication of the nearly 500 employees of MOL Pakistan, and it is the proof of strong partnerships built with the stakeholders in Pakistan and the local communities, as well as it shows the resilience of MOL Pakistan and the strength of MOL Group’s international operations.” – said Zsombor Marton, Executive Vice President, Exploration and Production of MOL Group at the anniversary event held in Islamabad, Pakistan.   To mark the anniversary, as part of MOL Pakistan’s corporate responsibility, two fully equipped ambulance cars were handed over that will be used at public hospitals in the company’s operational area in Kohat and Karak districts.   Congratulations to MOL Pakistan! #MOL

  • New horizons in Kazakhstan: MOL Group signed a cooperation agreement with Kazakhstani national oil company KazMunayGas to jointly explore opportunities in the oil, gas and petrochemical sector as strategic partners.     The agreement builds on a successful joint venture partnership in Kazakhstan where we have been producing gas and gas condensate, and it further strengthens MOL Group’s 20-years long good relationship with our partners in the country.     The agreement signed today follows the ones MOL Group has recently signed with other strategic partners including the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and with Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in Türkiye. #MOL

  • MOL Group today announced its financial results for Q3 2024. The company is on track to meet its annual profit before tax guidance reaching USD 503mn in this period and USD 1,419mn in the first nine months of 2024.    Upstream reported high production levels, while Downstream’s performance was lowered by the macro-environment and planned turnarounds. Consumer Services performed flat year-on-year with positive fuel sales contribution and affected by one-off effects. The results of the Circular Economy segment show large fluctuation but remain in the red on a free cash flow level as investments in the waste management system remain elevated.   More details here:  https://lnkd.in/e_TNHgvh

  • We had the pleasure of hosting our Growww MeetUp Day 2024 on October 16th at the MOL Campus!   It was a day dedicated to welcoming the new generation of Growww 2024/2025 talents. Through insightful discussions and visits to their divisions, we introduced them to our company's value chain and on the second day they visited the Danube Refinery at Százhalombatta. Since its inception in 2007, the Growww program has been a cornerstone of talent development at MOL Group, offering young graduates a unique opportunity to become part of our global team. Over the years 2,500 talented individuals have joined us, bringing fresh energy and helping drive progress across the company. Many of our current frontline and mid-level leaders started their journey through Growww.   This year, we’re thrilled to welcome 91 young professionals from 8 countries, who will actively contribute to the energy transition and help shape the future of the industry. Together, we’re not just fostering careers—we’re building a sustainable future for the energy sector.   #Wecreatesolutions

  • European ministerial delegations visited MOL Group’s green hydrogen plant in the Danube Refinery in Százhalombatta, to get to know the technology and the experience we have gained so far in green hydrogen production. The occasion for the visit was the two-day ministerial meeting of the CESEC High Level Group.  Leaders of MOL Group stressed at the event that the company is committed to advancing the green energy transition through its investments but to meet the European Union climate goals, there is a need for incentives for industry players and an EU regulatory environment that considers economic challenges and regional characteristics. According to MOL, green hydrogen can play an important role in making industrial activities and the mobility sector greener, and the plant in Százhalombatta represents an important step forward in this field. The largest capacity green hydrogen plant in Central and Eastern Europe will reduce the carbon footprint of the Danube Refinery by more than 25,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, as much as the annual carbon dioxide emissions of roughly 5400 typical cars.

MOL Group strengthens its international portfolio with a new strategic partnership.  We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Turkish Petroleum Corporation to support each other in the future as strategic partners in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons. With the agreement, which is in line with our long-term SHAPE TOMORROW strategy, we are opening a new chapter in our decade-long history together. Our goal is to keep the daily production volumes at a minimum 90 kboepd level throughout the next 5 years and our Exploration and Production division will do everything to further strengthen its international portfolio. We aim to establish strategic partnerships that help us contribute to the energy supply security and competitiveness of Central and Eastern Europe. #MOL #ShapeTomorrow
