We are proud to say that Respray has been honored with the 2023 Hungarian Innovation Award (by: Magyar Innovációs Szövetség) in the category of Environment Protection for our innovative refillable spray deodorant solution 🏆🌿 Our mission is to promote sustainability and we are deeply grateful for this recognition. Our startup was founded upon the idea to rethink the way we use everyday products like aerosol fuelled spray deodorants. The traditional single-use aerosols are contributing to our planet’s pollution crisis. The jury recognized our eco-friendly solution as a great innovation which has good effects on the economical and social environment. The Refill Revolution 🌎 Our refillable spray deodorant Refill Station is designed to minimize waste. Here’s how it works: 1. Special Eco-friendly Cans: Together with TUBEX we provide an award-winning eco-friendly refillable can. 2. Refill Stations: Instead of tossing out the empty deo can, you simply refill it at our Refill Stations. 3. Natural Formulas: Our deodorant is free from harmful chemicals and packed with natural ingredients. On top of this we miss out on LPG propellants and use compressed air instead. Our impact matters  💚 1. Less Waste: Recycling empty aerosol cans is a severe problem due to the overpressure that remains inside them. There are less thrown away cans due to refilling and we make sure the litter goes to the right spot by collecting the empty cans near our Refill Stations. 2. Lower Carbon Footprint: Our cans are made from post-consumer recycled aluminum and made with ecological ink. By refilling the cans multiple times, one Respray deo emits 5 times less carbon-dioxide compared to an average one. Respray had the pleasure to visit the manufacturing plant of Beiersdorf in Itatiba. Beiersdorf is a global skin care company that has an extremely strong brand portfolio with leading international brands such as NIVEA. 🚀 It was amazing to see the developments lead by inspiring people like Rafael Alan Silveira who was our incredible host during the visit. All the big FMCG companies have a huge responsibility in the transition towards sustainability. Antal Almásy. A man with a heroic life story. ⭐ Born into a historical family. Took part in the Hungarian revolution of 56’. Was one of the first pioneers who started developing aerosol filling machines. Moved to Brazil. Established one of the first filling companies of the country. Built an empire. Done all these things while creating an amazing and loving family. It was a great honor for me and Andor Réti to visit Aercamp and hear all the stories behind the great success of the Almásy family. We saw the lines that Antal designed on paper in the 60s and 70s still functioning. This great piece of engineering inspired us to build long-lasting technologies that contribute to sustainability for future generations. We can only hope that someday someone will think of our achievements as we do of Antal’s. These stories are an example of true entrepreneurship. We are honoured to have won the #CircularEconomy category of Climate Change Summit Awards. This international recognition supports our mission to bring #sustainability to the cosmetics and household industries. During the summit, it was great to see that we have allies in the fight against #climatechange. We learned that the climate situation is still worrying, but there are still measures to reverse the warming of our planet. At Respray, our vision is to bring the world closer to sustainability by offering solutions to customers that enable them to reduce their own #environmentalfootprint with minimal compromise.
