GeoDesign Forum 2024 – Sustainable Buildings Worldwide🌍 On October 17-18, we hosted the GeoDesign Forum 2024 conference and professional day in Budapest, bringing together sustainable building engineering and modern technology. At the conference held in Lóvasút Cultural and Event Center, our partners had the opportunity to meet the international suppliers with whom Geo Concept, SmartCool Engineering Ltd., and Green Watt closely collaborate. The event concluded with an engaging roundtable discussion covering European gas and electricity prices, the heat pump market, and energy regulations unique to each country, offering genuine insights into the dynamics of international markets. One special feature of the location was that we had designed its geothermal heat pump system during the building’s modernization, providing participants a live viewing of one of our projects through a guided tour of the mechanical room. On Friday, the event continued with a professional day at Concept Group Office Building, where we enriched the program with practical questions and demonstrations. We changed an old air cooled chiller to a new Carrier HVAC air to water heat pump and we connected the heating and cooling system together. The new heat pump is not bigger capacity than the old cooling only chiller, so there was almost no extra costs for the costumer but with the reversible heat pump we expecting 50-60% natural gas consumption reduction This will save the costumer a fortune, and also reducing enviromental impact for a better future. Summer is officially started May and June is always packed with action at SmartCool Engineering Ltd. During the last two months we installed several projects and changed old Carrier HVAC chillers and installed new ones For our prestigious partner Telekom HU we are installing 2 pcs of Carrier 30RBP-410R air cooled chillers with R32 refrigerant, these chillers are working 0/24 during the whole year, as these are critical IT infrastructure cooling equipments We also changed a water cooled chiller for Hungary biggest mushroom producer BioFungi, installation was done in 3 days to meet costumer expectation and reduce downtime for production New chiller is 700kW cooling capacity Carrier 30XW-702 unit Lastly we shipped and installed a Carrier 30XWP-ZE 651 unit with low GWP R515B refrigerant and a “V” shape dry cooler for Radisson Hotel Sárvár as they old LG absorption chiller retired from service In this project the “V” shape dry cooler designed to maintain only 35dB(A) sound pressure in 5 meters as the area is recreational and the hotel doesnt want to disturb anyone If you have any project in mind, we surely have a solution for you

Idén áprilisban a SmartCool Engineering Ltd. teljes körű lebonyolításában sor került 2 db Carrier 30XW-V1150A – típusú ( 2x1150kW hűtőteljesítményben) inverter szabályzású, csavarkompresszorokkal ellátott vízhűtéses folyadékhűtő berendezés telepítésére a Corinthia Budapest hotelépületében. A körülményeket nehezítette, hogy egy pinceszinten lévő gépházba kellett a berendezéseket helyükre mozgatni, amelyet a födém,-és ajtónyílás megbontásával lehetett csak megvalósítani.👷🏼 -- This April, SmartCool Engineering Ltd. managed the complete installation of 2 units of Carrier 30XW-V1150A type liquid chiller systems, equipped with inverter-controlled screw compressors, at the Corinthia Budapest hotel building. Ennek során 1 db CARRIER 30RBP-720R típusú, 720kW névleges hűtőteljesítményű, hővisszanyerős kompakt berendezés került az épület tetejére.🏗️🎥 -- The reconstruction of the liquid cooling system of The Aquincum Hotel Budapest was carried out in March this year under the full implementation of SmartCool Engineering Ltd. Spring is here, our partner The Aquincum Hotel Budapest is already preparing for the summer. We just delivered and also installing this new air cooled chiller. The chiller is an Carrier HVAC 30RBP-720R chiller with Scroll compressors and R32 low GWP refrigerant. This range from Carrier can be ordered with Total Heat Recovery, meaning it can simultaneously produce cooling and heating (up to 65 Celsius leaving water temp). The new heat pump system at Unilever Hungary is almost ready. Unilever’s goal is to be gas neutral, and the heat pump system that is being built by SmartCool Engineering Ltd. will play a big role to achieve that. The heat pump system has a heating capacity of 1100 kW and can work simultaneously in heating and cooling. The task is perfomed by two Carrier 30XWHPZE551 heat pumps, which are filled with R1234ze HFO refrigerant (GWP - 1 )
