The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the identification, implementation and monitoring of the business opportunities in its region of responsibility, aiming to reach the sales targets established in the Strategic Planning of Frasle Mobility. Negotiation, management and follow-up of orders in close contact with customers and internal teams is a key part of your responsibility. The ASM will work in partnership with back-office teams in Europe, Brazil, China and India to ensure business opportunities are implemented correctly and always based on customer’s expectation respecting Frasle’s policies. Keeping updated information about your area of responsibility as well as reporting of activities and achieved results complement your responsibilities. This professional will temporarily report to the Sales & Marketing Director – EMEA and the company reserves the right to change line of report at any time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage your areas of responsibility, mapping market potential, monitoring competitor’s activities, identifying and implementing new business opportunities in line with the company’s main objectives.
Ownership of sales results in your area of responsibility based on the annual targets always agreed in advance between the Area Sales Manager and the direct management of EMEA region, periodically reporting achieved results and action plans to maintain/improve the established sales plan.
Manage current customers through periodic visits, negotiating orders (prices, lead times, payment methods, and others) and assuring the specific targets per customer.
Share travel reports with direct management and other members of the team informing them about visits, general market information, competition, opportunities, challenges and others.
Follow internal price policies to deliver expected financial results but always reporting inconsistencies and points of improvement for commercial policies in your area of responsibility in order to evaluate in partnership with company’s management the possibilities to always the best offer to the customer.
Identify and plan the needs for technical training/seminars for the commercial and technical teams of our customers, develop content in partnership with our internal teams, organizing seminars, personally delivering these training whenever necessary and applicable aiming to always keep our customers updated in regards to our products and services;
Encourage and follow up sales campaigns in the field for all our brands and products through our internal teams as well as through your customers. Work in close partnership with our marketing teams in Europe and in the HQ to implement these activities always respecting Frasle’s internal policies.
Participate in trade shows and specific events related to our business segment in your area of responsibility as well as in global shows whenever applicable.
Support in the identification and development of new products in line with the company’s strategies as well as the customer’s needs, bringing market knowledge of current competitors and assuring the necessary information will be provided for Frasle’s decisions and actions;
Report, support and follow up possible quality disturbances in our products in close contact with customers and our internal responsible teams in Europe as well as in the manufacturing sites, always aiming to find the fastest and most efficient solution for the customer in order to minimize impacts in their operations as well as in our brands perception in the market;
Develop in-depth knowledge of all Frasle products commercialized in your region.
Manage and report travel expenses in an ethical way and always respect Frasle’s policies;
Participate in the company’s Strategic Planning when applicable, bringing relevant information from your markets of responsibility.
COMPETENCES AND SKILLS
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales (field force) of auto parts with focus in the European independent aftermarket
Graduated in Business Management, International Business or Engineering
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in negotiation with relevant accounts
Independent and able to prioritize
Microsoft Office 365 tools
Availability to travel internationally on regular basis and valid driver’s license in the country where you will be based
Fluent English, German nice to have
Affinity working in multinational company.

The company reserves the right to change the area of responsibility at any time but always in common agreement with the Area Sales Manager.
