Welcoming 2025, Arkadia Works officially inaugurated its new headquarters in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. The inauguration event was attended by prominent business partners and stakeholders, including Chairperson of Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) Ignesjz Kemalawarta, Vice Chairperson Prasetyo Adi, Senior Associate Director of Colliers International Indonesia Rahmat Daresa Alam, Deputy Chair of the Himpunan Desainer Interior Indonesia (HDII) DKI Jakarta Ariya Sradha, and Arkadia Works management team. The new office is designed with a modern workspace concept emphasizing collaboration and creativity, aligning with the company’s vision, “Making The Great Workplace To Work.” This inspiring environment is set to empower employees to generate innovative and impactful ideas. The Arkadia Works HQ building reflects not only creativity, but also the company's commitment to sustainability. This is proven by obtaining the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certificate from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group. After going through a science-based retrofitting and detailed assessment process, the building recorded efficiencies of 23% for energy savings, 30% for water, and 99% less embodied carbon in materials. Arkadia Works continues its “One Desk One Tree” initiative, planting a tree for every desk produced in its projects from 2022. Thousands of trees have been planted across Indonesia, including in Semarang, Demak, Banjarmasin, Yogyakarta, and Bekasi. This year, in partnership with LindungiHutan and Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, Arkadia Works planted mangroves at Kartika Jaya Beach, Kendal, to combat coastal erosion and protect local communities from flooding. On Friday, September 20th, 2024, Arkadia Works held an Electrical Safety Training session aimed to improve safety standards in the workplace. On 15th September 2024, Arkadia Works cleaned up Taman Lapangan Banteng, one of Jakarta’s landmarks. This social initiative aimed to clean public spaces and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean urban environment. During the event, 55 volunteers, including employees from Arkadia Works, Ecobuild Green Building Consultant and Trash Hero World, joined forces to clean up the Taman Lapangan Banteng area. A total of 16.3 kg of general waste and 2.3 kg of recyclable waste were collected, amounting to 18.6 kg of waste. This initiative reflects Arkadia Works commitment to environmental care. Keeping the city clean is a shared responsibility, this movement aims to positively impact the environment and create cleaner, more welcoming public spaces.
