Hello, Climate Fellows! Did you know that 41.2% of Indonesia’s banking portfolios are exposed to climate risks? This includes Sub-National Development Banks (SNDBs), which play a crucial role in regional development. To build resilience, SNDBs must urgently integrate climate risk management into their core strategies—not only to safeguard assets but also to drive sustainable development at the regional level. With OJK Regulation No. 17 of 2023, banks, including SNDBs, are now mandated to address climate risks. As OJK’s climate stress tests reveal, aligning with these standards is essential to support Indonesia’s transition to a low-carbon economy. By implementing robust governance and innovative risk strategies, SNDBs can lead the way toward a sustainable future. Swipe through for key insights on how SNDBs can navigate climate risks effectively! #ClimateResilience #SustainableFinance #SNDBs #LowCarbonEconomy #ClimateAction #ClimateFinaance #CCSFUI #Indonesia
