On February 11, 2025, Chickin Indonesia officially signed an MoU with SMKN 1 Trucuk, Klaten, Jawa Tengah, marking the beginning of an impactful academic partnership. This collaboration is designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills and prepare them for careers in Smart Farming. Through industry-based learning programs, hands-on training, and selection opportunities, we’re committed to bridging the gap between education and the workforce. 🚀 Advancing Poultry Farming with IoT & Smart Diesel Automation At Chickin, innovation is at the core of what we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce our latest collaboration with Kubota, bringing IoT-based diesel automation to poultry farms in areas with limited electricity access. 🔹 Many poultry farms in Indonesia still rely on diesel engines due to high electricity installation costs. However, traditional diesel operations are manual, time-consuming, and inefficient. 🔹 Through this partnership, Chickin integrates smart IoT technology with Kubota’s reliable and energy-efficient diesel engines, allowing farmers to control diesel-powered ventilation systems remotely via an app. 🔹 This game-changing solution helps farmers save time, reduce manual work, and optimize energy use—ensuring a more efficient and sustainable poultry farming process. 📍 Pilot Implementation This initiative officially launched in November 2024, with the technology being developed at Chickin’s office & production workshop in Yogyakarta. The first trial implementation is taking place at a Chickin plasma farm in Semarang, where early farmer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! With Chickin x Kubota, we’re not just introducing automation—we’re empowering farmers with the tools they need for a smarter, more efficient, and future-ready poultry industry.
