This whole-school event unites student voices, solution-makers, and stakeholders to share ideas and inspire action. This year, we brought our entire community together to exchange knowledge and solutions for sustainable living! The event showcased Lower School Student-Led Conferences, Middle School Integrated Study Unit presentations, and a vibrant Sustainable Solutions Expo featuring High School class and project exhibitions alongside contributions from across the school. Reporting to the Head of Campus, the Director of Business Administration will work closely with the senior leadership team to advise and lead matters related to HR, Finance, IT, and Operations. The role requires someone extremely hands-on, highly organized, and experienced in all aspects of business administration, from strategic planning to implementation, people management, financial oversight, IT infrastructure management, and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative, effective working relationships are essential to liaise with colleagues and any third parties. Relevant qualifications in business administration or a related field, along with evidence of continued professional development, are essential. Based at Green School Bali, this role is full-time. At Green School, our Grade 12 students complete a Capstone project in their final year. The project, known as “Greenstone,” will be presented in a TED Talk-style format to our entire community at their final graduation in June 2025. To support and prepare our students, we recently hosted a Greenstone Mentor Speed Matching event, connecting our Grade 12 students with the broader community, including parents! This event provided a wonderful opportunity for parents and community members to meet our students, hear about their Greenstone projects, and participate in a mentor-style speed matching session. Students presented their projects, followed by a series of seven-minute sessions where parents visited each student’s table to offer feedback, share advice, or simply listen to their progress. As in real life, some interactions may conclude right there at the speed matching table. Other conversations have the potential to develop into long-term mentorships, supporting the students as they work towards completing their Greenstone projects.
