♻️Do you know how much waste a 100-room hotel can generate per day? During my recent visit to Desa Potato Head in Bali, I discovered they’re setting a whole new benchmark for sustainability in hospitality: ✨ 1.80 kg of waste per guest—way below the industry standard of 2.73 kg. ✨ Only 3% of their waste ends up in a landfill, compared to the shocking 78% average. What impressed me even more is how they tackle waste creatively—repurposing kitchen scraps, coconut shells, and more into something meaningful. It’s proof that sustainability doesn’t mean compromising on luxury; it means redefining it. Big applause to the passionate team and founders for showing how eco-conscious hospitality can truly shine. Potato Head Family, Eco-Mantra 🔆If you’re ever in Bali, take their sustainability tour—it’s an eye-opener! ⁉️Answering the questions above, a 100-room hotel can generate apx 200-250 kg of waste daily, this would add up to nearly 10-15 soccer fields worth of waste over the year. #bali #hospitality #sustainability #balihotels
