The ALBA Tridi Project celebrated reaching one million safe man-hours without a lost time incident (LTI) on September 25, 2024, in Kendal, Central Java. After 13 months of construction, this remarkable safety milestone was achieved. The ceremony was attended by Vincent Cheng, Project Director and Chief Technical Officer of ALBA Asia Plastics Recycling Limited; James Holloway, Director of PT Meinhardt Indonesia; Antoine de Winter and Benny Handoko, Directors of PT Decorient Partaya Indonesia. Awards were presented to outstanding employees, and ALBA recognized both Meinhardt and Decorient with certificates of appreciation. On the same day, a Taking Over Certificate was signed, marking the completion of the main works by Decorient. A small team will remain on site to assist with the installation and commissioning of process equipment. In his speech, Vincent expressed gratitude to both Meinhardt and Decorient for their exceptional performance and adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety. He noted that, among all ALBA projects he has been involved with, this one stands out for its construction excellence. Thanks to timely construction delivery, the ALBA Tridi Plastics Recycling Plant in Kendal, Central Java, is set to begin operations ahead of schedule. We hope our clients successfully complete the testing and commissioning process to achieve full operations by early 2025. Once again, we take pride in Decorient’s ability to meet client expectations as a trusted partner in construction. #construction #ALBA #Decorient #safety #sustainability #yourtrustedpartner
