As the year comes to a close, everyone’s sharing their 2024 Wrapped, and here’s ours, because it’s your story, too. 💧 284,000 liters of clean water flowing every day. 💧 6 villages empowered with sustainable solutions. 💧 Access to clean water doubled—from 30 to 60 liters per person daily. But this isn’t just about numbers. It’s about the families who no longer have to struggle for water. It’s about the communities that took ownership and worked side by side to make these projects a reality. It’s about hope flowing freely—bringing health, opportunity, and dignity to everyone it touches. This impact belongs to you. Here’s to doing even more together in 2025!💧 #MengalirSampaiAnakCucu #WaterFlowsGenerationsGrow #SolarChapter #CleanWaterForAll #EastNusaTenggara

Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management

Last month, I had the opportunity to participate in 2024 Goldman Sachs Analyst Impact Fund in London. This year, over 700 analysts has presented NPOs globally, and our team was selected as one of the top 4 finalist team representing Solar Chapter. We had an opportunity to pitch to our CEO David Solomon and senior partners at the firm and we are happy to share that we secured a grant of $50,000. Solar Chapter is a non-profit organisation that aims to solve water crisis through implementing solar-powered water pumps with proprietary monitoring technology, Water IQ. Firstly, thank you to my amazing teammates Haru Yamanaka Derrick Fung Wei Ming Samuel Choi for the dedication and hard work throughout this journey. Also, I would like to thank my manager Daphne Chan, CFA, CPA(Aust) as well as our sales team in Singapore who provided continuous support along the way. Lastly, special thank you to Brad Weinstein and Carlos Bernabe for organizing this amazing program and ensuring everything went smoothly! Keeping-Up with Boen and Tafuli! Last month, we completed a critical maintenance project for the Water for Boen and Tafuli initiative. This effort underscores our commitment to ensuring clean water accessibility and fostering community resilience in these villages. ⛈️ With the rainy season challenging our earlier efforts, we knew we needed to do more. So, alongside the incredible communities in Boen and Tafuli, we strengthened the gabion structures protecting their wells. This might sound technical, but here’s the heart of it: we’re keeping clean water flowing and making sure the infrastructure stays strong for years to come. 🤝 👷♀️ Community Impact: Residents rolled up their sleeves, learned new skills, and worked together to make it happen. Not only are they now better equipped to maintain their water systems, but their sense of ownership and pride has grown too. 📊 What's next? To ensure long-term impact, we're implementing: 1. Routine Monitoring: Regular checks on pumps and water systems to maintain optimal performance. 2. Ongoing Maintenance: Scheduled upkeep of solar panels, filters, and surrounding facilities. This project reminds us that sustainability goes beyond technical solutions, it thrives on community ownership and collaborative action. We are incredibly proud to partner with these communities and support their journey toward water security. Water Flows, Generations Grow. #MengalirSampaiAnakCucu #SolarChapter #WaterForAll
