Another milestone for Indonesian filmmakers! 🏆🎬 Little Rebels Cinema Club, a short film by Khozy Rizal Putra, has been selected for its international premiere and competition at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in the Generation Kplus category, taking place from February 13–23, 2025. As part of MAXStream Studios' Secinta Itu Sama Sinema (SISS) program, the film first captivated audiences at JAFF 2024. Set in 2008, it follows the heartfelt journey of Doddy (14) and his best friend as they recreate scenes from a zombie film using Doddy’s older brother Anji’s handycam—unfolding a deeper narrative of youth and emotions. This achievement reaffirms Telkomsel’s commitment, through MAXStream Studios, to strengthening Indonesia’s film ecosystem and showcasing local talent on the global stage. 🌏 Let’s celebrate and support Indonesian cinema! Vice Minister of Communications and Digital RI Nezar Patria emphasized the critical role of digital literacy in ensuring Indonesians can harness technology wisely, safely, and productively. “Programs like Internet BAIK Series 9 are essential in preparing society for AI-driven advancements through collaboration between the government, private sector, communities, and education.” That’s why Telkomsel is bringing back Internet BAIK Series 9 with IBFEST 2025, carrying the theme "Ignite Ideas, Unleash Creativity". Empowering the Future: Connecting Smiles for a Brighter Generation Through the Sambungkan Senyuman untuk Generasi Gemilang program, Telkomsel has distributed thousands of school backpacks to students across Indonesia—from Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, to Papua. This initiative was made possible by the participation of more than 66,000 Telkomsel, IndiHome, and by.U customers, who collectively redeemed around 1 million Telkomsel Poin and uCoin by.U Indonesia Indonesia in 165,000 transactions. More than just a collective effort, this program reflects our commitment to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and education in Indonesia. In its early stages, Telkomsel partnered with artists with disabilities from the Tab Space community to design unique illustrations featured on the school backpacks. To further support the local creative industry, we also collaborated with Bandung-based MSME Open Ending to produce these backpacks, ensuring that every contribution not only benefits students but also empowers small businesses.
