PT Hero Supermarket Tbk merupakan perusahaan pelopor ritel modern di Indonesia yang pertama kali didirikan oleh almarhum Muhammad Saleh Kurnia di Jl. Falatehan, Jakarta pada tahun 1971. Seiring berjalannya waktu, HERO Group tumbuh dan berkembang dalam membangun jaringan bisnisnya serta berinovasi dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan serta pola konsumsi masyarakat. Perseroan saat ini mengoperasikan empat unit bisnis, yaitu Hero Supermarket, Giant, Guardian dan IKEA. Selain berfokus dalam pengembangan bentuk bisnis yang dijalankan, HERO Group juga mengajak masyarakat untuk berperan serta dalam mengembangkan dan mengawasi jalannya usaha. Oleh sebab itu itu, pada tahun 1989 Perseroan melakukan pencatatan saham perdana di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan kode saham “HERO”.

  • Guardian wins Retail Asia Award 2024! Guardian Indonesia has been awarded the Retail Asia Award 2024 in the category of "In-store Customer Experience of the Year" for Trending Products. The Trending Product was launched in 2022, which is a high-demand and viral product on social media. Since then, Trending Products has generated big buzz with over 149 million impressions as well as over 63 million digital reach. Trending Products also managed to achieve double-digit sales growth and also brought in new customers especially Gen-Z. Trending Products is a collaborative project between departments namely Commercial, Operations, Space & Planning, Supply Chain and Marketing teams. In 2024, Trending Products will be more complete. From cosmetics, skincare, personal care to the most viral perfumes on social media. In addition, there is also a new innovation of shopping Trending Products with an Omni-channel experience with Augmented Reality (AR). Customers can find out the Product Benefit through a specially created landing page and can also make purchases online.   • The excitement of Week 4 of People Month 2024! Week 4 of People Month 2024 kicked off with a seminar entitled "Learn to Master of Your Emotion". Together with Reynitta Poerwito - Clinical Psychologist, team members were given insight into the importance of managing emotions to achieve personal well-being and organisational success. Managing emotions can help individuals reduce stress and anxiety, which has a positive impact on their mental health. One of the main ways to control emotions is by increasing self-awareness. By being aware of the emotions we feel and what triggers them, we can more easily control our reactions to situations that give rise to those emotions. In addition, relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or exercise are also taught to help reduce stress levels and emotional tension. In the context of work, the ability to control emotions is very important. Team members who are able to manage their emotions well will find it easier to co-operate with other team members, resolve conflicts and make wise decisions. They also tend to be more productive and efficient in carrying out their tasks. In addition, controlled emotions allow for more rational and informed decision-making. In addition, lucky colleagues also got the chance to join a free counselling session that was given to team members who registered for the counselling session before the event started. The enthusiasm of the participants was very high, with many wishing for further discussion through an application facilitated by the company. Today's event also marked the closing of the entire People Month 2024 series. The event was ended with a festive ending, followed by confetti shots and celebrated by team members. With that, People Month 2024 officially ended with enthusiasm and hope for a better future for team members of PT Hero Supermarket Tbk. In addition, team members are now able to formally express their appreciation to other team members through the TC platform. The appreciation period for People Month runs from 24 June to 28 June. Starting with the Mid-Year Consultation Booth on 18 - 19 June 2024, where team members can consult on how to fill in the system related to mid-year performance. This booth is a great place to get hands-on guidance and advice so that the performance charging process runs smoothly and on time. Furthermore, on 19 June 2024, we held the seminar "Agile Future: Reskilling and Upskilling in the Digital Age" with speaker Wulan Ranny, S.Psi, CHRP, who is the Managing Director and Consultant at NAMA HC Consultant & Academy. In this event, team members gained valuable knowledge on how to enhance and strengthen their skills to remain competitive in the digital age. The event aimed to provide team members with the knowledge to face future challenges with relevant skills for the digital era. The third week of People Month 2024 closed with a fun activity, the People Month 2024 Photo Booth on 21 June 2024. This activity invited team members to capture precious moments in People Month 2024 by taking pictures at the booth provided. These photos will not only become beautiful memories, but also strengthen togetherness and family spirit among team members.   • Guardian Indonesia Re-launch Trending Product 3.0 with The New Shopping Experience with Augmented Realty (AR) One of the innovations that carried out by Guardian Indonesia is launching Trending Products, the beauty brands that goes viral on social media. Continuing the success, Guardian just launched Product Trending 3.0 with a more complete product range. With additional brands and products in skin care and cosmetics, but also with the additional category is perfume from personal care. Product Trending 3.0 presents a new shopping experience with Augmented Realty (AR). Shopping experience can be more fun and enjoyable with the omnichannel experience instore.   • Guardian Indonesia Business Partner Gathering “Expanding Opportunities, Advancing Together” Guardian Indonesia was held an annual business partner gathering event with the theme “Expanding Opportunities, Advancing Together”, which is an appreciation for business partners who has supported Guardian in 2023. The event was attended by 300 guests, consist of suppliers and internal team members. At the event, we shared our achievements in 2023 and revealed our plan for 2024, so we can open up more opportunities to achieve the success together. The appreciation also given to business partner in 17 categories including Best Sales Growth by Category, Best Collaboration, Best Key Account and several other award categories.
