✨ A Full Circle Moment with Our Weavers ✨ After visiting the weaving community in Sintang for monitoring and evaluation earlier this year, it was our turn to welcome Bu Sri and Bu Katarina to Jakarta for the Sarinah showcase. Their visit was filled with meaningful experiences: 🏠 A warm welcome and tour of Rumah Kita, our TORAJAMELO office, where tradition and creativity come alive. 🤝 A collaborative discussion with Solidaridad Indonesia, represented by Bu Ratri and Pak Edy, exploring ways to further support artisan communities. 🌏 A spectacular showcase on 22nd November at Sarinah, where they demonstrated their weaving expertise throughout the day, connecting with visitors from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. We hope their time here was as enriching for them as it was for us. 🌾 Bringing Dayak Culture to Life Through Tenun 🌾 We just wrapped up a Monitoring and Evaluation trip to Sintang, Ensaid Panjang, where we were thrilled to see the beautiful tenun produced by local weavers since Pak Bhim's training in August. The results are impressive!
