London | Have a brilliant brunch in central London
Attendant
📍 27A Foley St, Fitzrovia, London, W1W 6DY
At the entrance, there’s a massive sheet of paper that looks like a guest sign-in—it makes you feel like you’re part of the place’s history!
Avocado Smash
The avocado toast was incredibly generous. Unlike the typical thin spread, the toast was loaded with a thick layer of creamy, smooth avocado—absolutely satisfying! The red spread underneath seemed to be beetroot puree, and the combination worked surprisingly well. The toast itself was toasted to a crispy perfection, adding to the overall flavor.
Maldon Smoked Salmon
The smoked salmon was delicate and tender, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Paired with lemon and black pepper cream cheese on a slightly firm, toasted bread base, it was a hearty dish that left us absolutely full.
Macchiato
The coffee was decent—nothing remarkable but reliable and satisfying.
The popularity of this spot among locals is evident from how quickly it fills up. If you’re planning to visit on a weekend, make sure to go early!

London | Enjoy weekend with friends in Marylebone
Fischer's
📍 50 Marylebone High St, Marylebone, London W1U 5HN
Good weekends are best spent with friends!
Today, we visited this Austrian restaurant in Marylebone. The atmosphere is super fancy, with a retro and classic vibe, complete with hanging clocks that give off the feeling of dining near Kings Cross.
Borscht Soup
Perfect for a hot day, this chilled soup was sweet and tangy, with a dollop of sour cream adding a refreshing and appetizing touch.
Supreme Cod
The cod was tender, with a crispy outer layer. The vegetable sauce at the bottom grew more refreshing with each bite, while the tomato-accented tang on top paired perfectly with the fish. The fried pastry also had a strong seafood flavor, making it a great complement to the dish.
Chicken Holstein
This fried chicken dish, done in a very Austrian style, looked almost like a schnitzel. The sauce poured over the chicken was rich and flavorful, with a thick consistency. The crispy chicken was served in a large portion—definitely a dish to share if you don’t want to feel overstuffed!
Sorbet
A refreshing lemon sorbet, the perfect summer dessert—light and satisfying!

London|Tasty fine dining restaurant near London Bridge
Trivet
📍 36 Snowsfields, Bermondsey, London SE1 3SU
The restaurant is located in the central London and the food is great!
Crispy Polenta with Whipped Cod
Crispy polenta fries paired with whipped cod salad. The fish melts in your mouth, and the fried polenta feels surprisingly light, avoiding the usual heaviness of fried dishes.
Bread & Butter
The bread is slightly firm, but it pairs wonderfully with the rich butter!
Red Mullet
The fish itself has a slight brininess, but the beans at the base have a tangy flavor that balances it out nicely.
Chicken with Vinegar Sauce
The chicken is excellent, with a crispy skin and tender, non-greasy meat. The small potatoes on the side have a slightly crispy texture that complements the dish well.
Wagyu-Angus Hanger Steak
The steak is very tender, with the sauce completely masking any gaminess. The fries are perfectly crispy and well-fried, served with a slightly sweet dipping sauce.
Grilled Cornish Gill Netted Monkfish
We ordered the monkfish cooked medium rare. The exterior has a delightful charred aroma mixed with a hint of saltiness, offering a crunchy yet savory taste. The fish itself is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. The sauce underneath absorbs the sweetness of onions and the creaminess of butter, making it absolutely irresistible!
Almond and Napoleon Cherry Tart with Hazelnut Gelato
The almond tart paired with hazelnut gelato is superb! The gelato is neither overly sweet nor cloying—absolutely delightful!
Hokkaido Potato
This is their signature dessert, with a perfectly flaky pastry shell paired with lightly sweetened cream and sake ice cream. It’s a unique and flavorful dessert that leaves a lasting impression without being overpoweringly sweet.

London |Brilliant Restaurant for Christmas party
The vibe in the restaurant at night is really great, and there are three floors. Upstairs, there are private rooms and a Christmas tree, making it a perfect spot for group dinners. You can even enjoy a Christmas feast here!
The Death in Venice and Italian 75 are both excellent cocktails—refreshing and delicious, with a bit of a kick!
Beef Tartare is served wonderfully fresh, with no unpleasant taste of raw beef. The seasoning is perfectly balanced, and it has a nice chill to it. It pairs really well with the bread!
Red Prawn Crudo: The prawns are incredibly fresh, and they are complemented by a bit of pomegranate and a special sauce—perfect as an appetizer!
Lamb Rump: The lamb is prepared in a very special way, easy to cut, with tender meat inside and a perfectly cooked exterior. It pairs beautifully with wine!
Seabream: It’s said that the type of fish changes over time, and lately, they’ve been serving seabream. The bones aren’t too many, and the skin has a slight char, while the fish inside is cooked perfectly. A squeeze of lemon enhances the fresh flavor!
You can also order sides like truffle fries and vegetable salad, both of which are delicious!
For dessert, I absolutely love the sea salt ice cream and tiramisu—perfect portion sizes, sweet but not overwhelming.

Marylebone is undoubtedly one of my favorite areas in London. The restaurants here are elegant, often exuding a hint of Parisian charm and a relaxed vibe.
This time, I visited 108 Brasserie, a restaurant located within the Marylebone Hotel.

🦐 Crispy Tiger Prawn
The prawns were perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly fresh on the inside.

A whole piece of salmon cooked to perfection (well-done) with a slightly charred, aromatic crust and tender, flavorful fish meat.

The steak was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, rich in flavor. Paired with fries and sauce, it was divine!

💕Reasons to Recommend: The Paddington Station is a very convenient stop when travelling to and from Heathrow Airport. Using an express train, it will only take approximately 15 minutes of travel time. It is close to most shops and accommodations. I love the train station's beautiful interior design, especially the large clock near platform 1. Although the place looks rugged, I find this train station very clean! Notting Hill and Primrose Hill in London full of vintage feeling🇬🇧

After shopping for props at Portobello Market and walking along the streets of Notting Hill, take a double-decker bus to Primrose Hill to watch the sunset, and that day will be the best day✨

💞Reasons to Recommend: Dolphin Inn Hotel's staff are very kind and accommodating. They let us check in to our room early. We booked 3 bunk beds with a private bathroom. The room is bigger than expected, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast buffet is also worth the price. Plus, this hotel is walking distance to plenty of souvenir shops, restaurants, hop on and off buses, and the Paddington train station. Just a heads up, they do not have an elevator.

Christmas vibes
I recently traveled to London in early December. It was the festive season, and everywhere I went, shops and tourist spots were beautifully decorated. This made for some lovely photos during the Christmas season. Plus, people seemed even friendlier than usual, always greeting each other with 'Merry Christmas.' I really love the atmosphere and this festive period.
London | Brilliant Greek restaurant with Christmas vibe
Yesterday, I went to enjoy Greek food with a friend I hadn't seen in ages! This restaurant had been on my list for a while, and it didn’t disappoint—the ambiance was fantastic with Christmas vibe.
Who would have thought the place would be fully booked on a Monday evening? It was packed with foreigners having Christmas gatherings.
All Day Long
This lychee-flavored cocktail seemed light on alcohol at first, with a refreshing taste, but the kick came later—what a surprise!
Mykonian Salad
A super healthy choice! The cherry tomatoes were perfectly sweet and tangy, paired with crispy bread—absolutely delicious!
Octopus
Incredibly chewy and tender with a bouncy texture. The mashed potato base added a nice touch to the flavor and texture.
Lamb Kebab
The "lamb skewer" was super hearty! The seasoning was spot on, eliminating any gamy taste, and the sauce on the bottom made it even better.
Mushroom Pasta
Infused with truffle, this dish was incredibly aromatic. At first, I thought it was rice, but it turned out to be a pasta with a unique chewy texture, almost like mini noodles! A delightful surprise with rich mushroom flavors.
Grilled King Prawns
This is a must-try! The prawns were super fresh, tender, and juicy. The slight char on the surface added a smoky aroma. Perfect for sharing between two people!
Greek Yogurt Dessert
A signature Greek treat that wasn’t heavy at all. It had a light, airy texture, topped with pistachio bits and fruit jam. Surprisingly generous in size!

The seafood ceviche is incredibly fresh and refreshing. The octopus is generously portioned and pairs wonderfully with the creamy potatoes, achieving a perfect balance of flavors. The Duck on the Rice dish is especially suited to Asian tastes, with flavorful duck and deliciously prepared rice.
For dessert, the cheesecake is expertly made and pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee, rounding off a flawless dining experience.

London | Enjoy the Christmas vibe at Battersea Power Station
Last week, I visited the area around Battersea Power Station and was blown away by the Christmas atmosphere.
At the entrance, there’s an ice rink, and after the lights come on in the evening, adults can bring their kids to play there. There’s also a massive Christmas tree, creating a festive vibe.
Boots has set up a small booth outside, and many people were queuing up, probably for gifts.
There’s a carousel and small wooden huts serving coffee and hot drinks—perfect for warming up on a cold day!
Inside the shopping mall, the Christmas spirit is even more vibrant. If you’re lucky, you might catch the Christmas market, where many artisan stalls have some amazing displays.
What I particularly love about this mall is how they’ve preserved parts of the original operational spaces, blending modernity with historical traces.
If you have time, it’s definitely worth a visit!

London | Tasty Chinese restaurant on brick Lane
One Rice
📍46 Brick Ln, London E1 6RF
London’s food scene keeps getting better, and even Brick Lane is stepping up its game!
This spot specializes in Chaoshan seafood clay pot porridge, cooked to perfection. You can choose between crab or shrimp flavors. Each spoonful of warm porridge, combined with white pepper and ginger strips, feels both healthy and delicious. The crab meat is incredibly fresh, and I especially enjoyed the crab legs—so meaty!
The pork trotter and braised meat combo rice, chosen by my friend, was super tempting. The pork trotters were tender and sticky, and the sauce on the rice was uniquely flavorful—perfect for mixing!
Braised tofu knots looked mild but packed a punch of heat. The chili aroma seeped right into the tofu, making it incredibly appetizing!
We also tried a new dish—salted egg yolk-coated yam. The texture was so unique: sandy on the outside with firm yam inside, almost like yam chips. Absolutely delicious!
💰Average spend: £20-30 (Grabbing a pork trotter rice to-go after work is also a great idea!)

London | Must try afternoon tea in Hotel Cafe Royal
Hotel Café Royal
📍10 Air St, London W1B 4DY
Hotel Café Royal is a stunning 5-star hotel, famous for its afternoon tea, once frequented by Oscar Wilde.

Tea Selection: There’s a wide variety of teas available, and you can switch freely. I personally enjoyed the Earl Grey—its rich, fragrant aroma paired perfectly with the sandwiches and scones.
Sandwiches: A selection of flavors, including cucumber, smoked salmon, chicken, and beef, all beautifully prepared. The crispy biscuit with tomato on top added a touch of Spanish flair—unexpected yet delicious.
Scones & Desserts: The scones were impeccably crafted, but the highlight was the Van Gogh-inspired chocolates and pastries. A tiny chocolate self-portrait was presented on a miniature easel—adorable and inventive! The coffee notes balanced the sweetness of the chocolate perfectly.

London | Enjoy the afternoon like British in Belmond Hotel
Afternoon Tea at Cadogan's by Adam Handling
📍75 Sloane Street, London, SW1X 9SE
I’ve always wanted to visit the Belmond London hotel, and last time I finally had the chance to enjoy their afternoon tea!
Since I booked for a Birthday Occasion, they surprised me with a card and a birthday cake—such a thoughtful touch. Both the quality and service were impeccable.
Set Menu: There's only one set option for the afternoon tea, but you can choose any tea you'd like, paired with a glass of sparkling wine. The wine was delightful—light and not overpowering! Each teapot is adorned with a cozy handmade by Chef Adam’s mother, complete with a little label—such a sweet detail.
Savory Items: The sandwiches were good but not quite as impressive as those at The Langham. However, one vegetarian option was surprisingly standout! The rest, including the sandwiches and cheeses, were decent but not particularly memorable. On the other hand, the mini burger and fried potato balls were excellent—long live carbs!
Sweets: I adored all the desserts! Some had strong berry flavors, others were rich with chocolate—each one was unique and delightful. Truly showstoppers!
Scones: When the scones arrived, I switched my tea to Darjeeling, as the food was becoming a bit heavy by this point. The scones were well-made, with the accompanying jams adding a great touch.
Birthday Cake: The cake they prepared for me was a white chocolate and vanilla fusion—an absolute calorie bomb, but incredibly delicious.
💷 Overall: A luxurious and indulgent experience, perfect for special occasions. Highly recommended!
