A Better Work

Last week we attended a fantastic, engaging and enlightening bias workshop held by the wonderful team of Dr. Margaret Kennedy, Elaine Gennery and Orla Gennery using inclusive theatre (don't worry no one was subjected to our somewhat below-par acting skills)! 🥳😅   As they say, seeing is believing, and sometimes, we need to see things in action, such as how our own unconscious biases can include and exclude, even when our intentions are good! 🤯 Sometimes, we think of biases and exclusion as obvious and overt, but watching excellent actors show how nuanced it often is, whether revealing our own biases or those of others, it would be an understatement if we said we came away without a new perspective and lots of food for thought! 👏 Well done to everyone involved! 💪 #leadership #management #workplace #engagement #productivity #abetterwork #inclusion #biastraining #inclusiontheatre Michelle Wallace Ciara G.
