On Wednesday 4 December Billy Thompson Assistant General Secretary attended An Post Exo building for a marketing event. At this event Billy explained the benefits of AHCPS membership and was accompanied by our partner from Cornmarket Insurance Services Ronan Fennessy providing expert advice and support for members seeking to access our services. Day 2 of the AHCPS Branch Officer training event coming to a close. More informative presentations and engagement from attendees. Ciaran Rohan General Secretary and Paul Malone Deputy General Secretary are attending the Unions 21 event in London focussing on Trade Union renewal. Collaborating with international partners to build strong trade unions is vital in promoting and protecting members rights.

Earlier this week Ken White Assistant General Secretary had the opportunity to address Department of Justice Assistant Principal Network meeting. Ken outlined the work the AHCPS undertakes for its members on a daily basis and the excellent suite of member support initiatives available to members, including some member engagement schemes due to launch in October 2024.

The AHCPS is very proud to continue its collaboration with European Colleagues. Ciaran Rohan General Secretary and Paul Brady member of The Executive Committee and Dermot Brown UFE vice president are this week attending the Union of Finance Personnel in Europe Conference in Munich, Germany. Florian Köbler UFE president greeted the AHCPS delegation this morning upon arrival.
