About us

Ardmore Studios has been home to international TV and film productions in Ireland for over 50 years. It is located in Bray, Co. Wicklow and was founded by Louis Elliman and Emmet Dalton in 1958. Featuring Ireland's only four walled studio and a host of on-site production and post-production facilities. Ardmore has hosted an array of Irish and International productions over its history including 'The Tudors', 'Camelot', 'Braveheart' and 'Reign of Fire' to name but a few. Today Ardmore offers 5 large sound stages, including a water tank facility with a camera pit. Ranging in area from 3,000 to 15,000 square feet, our five sound stages are at the core of Ardmore's activities and capable of accommodating productions of all sizes and budgets. Facilities Include: 5 Stages Water Tank Facility Digital Sound Facilities - Ardmore Sound Lighting Facilities Art Departments Workshops and prop stores Production offices Make-up, hair and wardrobe department. Fully Equipped Restaurant and Bar The Studios have since played host to over 100 films; attracting international directors, actors and producers who have created films that reached audiences far beyond their Irish birthplace.
