Uachtarán CLG Jarlath Burns praised the “incredible efforts” of the 94 Gaelic Games clubs who were recently presented with Green Club awards in Croke Park. The Green Club Programme, a partnership between the GAA and local authorities, was established in 2020 to support GAA, LGFA and Camogie clubs to take action across five thematic areas of Energy, Waste, Water, Biodiversity, Travel & Transport and is funded with support from the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications. As sponsors of several Gaelic Games teams past and present, we’re especially thrilled in Arigna to be part of this brilliant initiative in collaboration with Probio Carbon. We look forward to continuing our support of Kilcock GAA Club and their efforts to eliminate pesticides and chemical fertilisers in their club. As the largest operating biochar plant in Europe, we are in a position to work with any other clubs out there eager to make the transition to a greener future. We had an absolutely brilliant day today shooting with the amazing production team for Homegrown, the Irish horticulture programme on RTE! 🎬🌱 The team were on-site today in Arigna at Europe's largest biochar plant, capturing the fascinating process behind this sustainable innovation that’s transforming soil health and carbon capture. It was inspiring to see the team in action with Shane Layden, Robert Johnson and Siobhán Hetherington and be a part of telling this incredible story. After filming with us in Roscommon, the team travelled to Kildare to film with Karen O'Hanlon of Probio Carbon. We provide biochar for Karen, so it's great to be involved to show the benefits of biochar from start to finish within the horticulture sector. The episode will air next year—don’t miss it! 📺 A big thanks to everyone involved for making it such a fun and informative day. Special thanks to Colm O'Driscoll for interviewing Shane, Raja Nundlall on camera, Tony Crosse on sound and Mark Boland for directing the whole thing. Thanks also to everyone in Arigna who worked behind the scenes this week to prepare for today's shoot. 🎬🌱 #Sustainability #Biochar #Homegrown #IrishHorticulture #RTE #GreenEnergy #Innovation #BehindTheScenes #HarvestFlame

Check out our feature in the Hardware Journal, explaining how our renewable and sustainable product, Harvest Flame, is providing an alternative solid fuel to ROI Retailers. Read an extract below or click the link at the bottom for the full article. "Arigna Fuels (one of the first manufacturers of smokeless fuels on the island) has continued to be at the forefront of clean fuel technology and has launched Harvest Flame to the market. Harvest Flame is a 100% sustainable renewable biomass product made from agricultural biomass residues. Harvest Flame is now available in 30L and 10kg bags. It is an ideal replacement for the BNM Briquette as the product is easy to light and the bags are easy to store and transport. Harvest Flame is not liable for carbon tax and hence is offering retailers in ROI a chance to offer their customers a suitable alternative to smokeless coal. In addition to this, Harvest Flame is truly sustainable and provides consumers and retailers with a chance to reduce their carbon footprint by burning and retailing a sustainable solid fuel." If you are a retailer and would like to stock Harvest Flame, please get in touch with us: info@arignafuels.ie https://shorturl.at/lfjfi
