#Hamstring Issues especially #hamstring proximal tendinopathy are rarely just a hamstring issue. You need to work on a lot of other key areas I discuss in this video.

Watch your starting hinge position when doing rows . It is a great way to work the core and legs while focusing on the arms. Too often people are curled over at the back rather than hinging at the hip. #backawarebelt gives you feedback to make sure you set it up correctly

Nice Mobility,Core Stability and Strength Pilates this week. Great to work on the mobility and then reinforce with stability and strength. Here is a selection of exercises to choose from. As always we have the #backawarebelt to guide our form.

Ditch the #situps they are probably putting too much strain on your back. Doing #coreworkout exercises that keep a neutral spine allow you to work your Abs but do it in a safer way for your spine. I'm using the #backawarebelt to make sure I work the #core throughout the moves, making sure I am working for the whole time.

BackAware Belt reposted this
#Hamstring exercises we use. I like to group into a few key categories 1. Hinge type- Learn the coordination between the glute and hamstring. Key Faults: make sure you are not rounding at the back. We want to make sure we are working at length the hamstring and glutes. Not rounding at the back. 2. Practice Pelvic control. Anterior pelvic tilt is associated with increased stretch on the hamstrings. Using the #backawarebelt can make sure we improve control. 3. Improve rib, Pelvic and Spinal Mobility. It's important to keep these areas moving correctly. 4. Adding Plantar flexion with our bridging works the hamstrings in the ways we do when running. 5. To mimic that running we want to add that dynamic element and leg cycling. 6. Hip Thrust with weight is a good way of getting Glute control. At the start of this exercise, you see the common faults. Just doing Pelvic movements rather than folding in the middle. BackAware very helpful here in teaching this correctly as you see the sensor .ove out of position when moving poorly. 7. Sprinting 🏃♂️ is the best thing you can do to protect hamstrings so we want to move our rehab to including this. Here is a selection of exercises to help with. For more visit https://lnkd.in/eqkHr7JT
