Why Your Planks Aren’t Working 😬🚫 If your lower back is arching or your hips are sagging, your plank isn’t doing what it should! Instead of strengthening your core, you’re putting unnecessary strain on your lower back. 😱 🔥 Fix it with these tips: Make sure you hold a neutral spine and don't let the back change position. Vary up the core exercises you are doing to constantly challenge the core. Want instant feedback on your form? The #BackAwareBelt helps you correct posture in real time so you get stronger, safer, and better results from every plank! 💪 Tag a friend who needs this! ⬇️ #Plank #CoreWorkout #BetterPosture

Few variations you can do with a foam roller to substitute for #reformerpilates . I have my #BackAwareBelt on to make sure I keep my spine in the correct position and core engaged at all times.

Every exercise can be a #core exercise. Keeping a good position allows you to target the area you are actually trying to work. The #backawarebelt can be that friendly reminder to keep you spine in a good position regardless of the exercise you are doing.

This is a lovely #calf exercise from this weeks Pilates class. Great way to strengthen the #Plantar and #achilles without putting them under too much pressure as they are mainly working isometrically. I have the #backawarebelt on so also nice way of teaching to push through the hips and keep good #runningposture

Relieving position for #backpack when using a standing desk.

If your using a #standingdesk remember to change your position regularly. I like the one where I put my elbows on the desk and push my hips back.
