💡Case Report Series with biologit Here at biologit, our vision is to ensure patient safety by simplifying the detection of risks and events from development to post-market. Our safety platform is uniquely designed to identify adverse events from the literature with our global and local database and purpose-built AI. Recently, our expert in Veterinary Pharmacovigilance, Irina Constantin, used the biologit platform to help uncover a case in the medical literature where a canine experienced the rare side effect of fenbendazole-induced pancytopenia. Fenbendazole, while effective against parasitic infections, may induce severe pancytopenia in immunocompromised patients, especially when dosing errors occur. Close hematologic monitoring is essential when administering fenbendazole, especially in vulnerable animals. Read more >>>
