This World Cancer Day, we’re highlighting the reality that 55% of people or their loved ones have experienced a cancer diagnosis at some point in their lives, according to new research by Boots Ireland. That’s why our beauty advisors provide free, face-to-face guidance on caring for your skin, nails, and hair during and after treatment. They can also help you recreate brows and lashes to feel more like yourself again. 🔹 Supporting the Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service Since 2012, we’ve raised over €3.5 million, equating to more than 9,500 free nights of Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing care. Our valued customers and patients can donate at any till or at our self-service checkouts. 100% of the funds raised in Boots Ireland goes directly to support the work of the Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service 💙. 3.5 Million Reasons to Say Thank You! 🙌   Last week, we were delighted to present Averil Power, CEO of the Irish Cancer Society, with a cheque for €189,977 raised during this year’s Boots Night Walk. This incredible total will fund approximately 370 nights of end-of-life care through the Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing Service, allowing patients to spend their final days at home surrounded by loved ones and providing essential respite for their families.   This year’s fundraising brings the total amount we’ve raised since 2012 to over €3.5 million, funding an approximate 9,500 nights of care.
