Donations from billionaire JP McManus’ charitable foundation more than doubled in 2023, despite a 70 per cent fall in donations received. Newly filed accounts for the Jp McManus Charitable Foundation show that the organisation donated some €42.7 million to good causes in 2023, more than double the €20.6 million donated a year prior. The charitable organisation is run by Noreen McManus, JP’s wife, as well as his daughter, Sue-Ann Foley. Luzern, a Dublin-based e-commerce company, has acquired Amazon Ads partner Tambo for an undisclosed sum. While the value of the deal has not been publicly made available, informed sources estimated the deal value to be in the region of €5 million. Founded in 2004, Luzern helps big brands to sell more effectively on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, as well as directly to consumers via their own online stores.
