Colas Contracting is the total solution provider for road maintenance services for our customers throughout the country in many areas such as Surface Dressing, MicroSurfacing, Road Marking and many other contracting services. Chemoran develop, produce and supply Bitumen Emulsifiers and Additives around the globe. Atlantic Bitumen import, distribute and provide related services in bituminous products.     Galway City Council is pleased to provide an early Christmas present to workers and residents in Parkmore with confirmation that works on the Parkmore Bus Priority Project have been completed ahead of schedule! It had been expected that construction works would continue into the first months of 2025, but works are now substantially complete in advance of the Christmas period. The project will deliver faster and more reliable journey times for workers in Parkmore. A significant enhancement of pedestrian facilities were also included as part of the completed works.     [We ACT for the planet 🌍] Colas’ Carbon Footprint: A New Target for Scopes 1 and 2 approved by the SBTi 46.5%: This is the new target Colas has set for 2030 to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions for scopes 1 and 2, related to our energy consumption. This new target, which has just been approved by the SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative), is aligned with the Paris Agreement that aims to maintain a global warming trajectory of +1.5%. Colas’ previous target for scopes 1 and 2 was -30% by 2030 compared to 2019.
