[We ACT for the planet 🌍] Colas’ Carbon Footprint: A New Target for Scopes 1 and 2 approved by the SBTi 46.5%: This is the new target Colas has set for 2030 to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions for scopes 1 and 2, related to our energy consumption. This new target, which has just been approved by the SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative), is aligned with the Paris Agreement that aims to maintain a global warming trajectory of +1.5%. Colas’ previous target for scopes 1 and 2 was -30% by 2030 compared to 2019. 👏 Leading by Example!   💡 We are proud to note that another 2 groups of employees have successfully completed “Positive Safety Leadership Training” delivered by the Colas Ireland Safety Team and Malin Kelly.   🦺 Safety is fundamental to everything that we do here at Colas Ireland, and training is an integral part of equipping our leaders to lead by example. The PSL workshop is a key part of the ‘ONE COLAS’ Safety Program, and focuses on further enhancing our leaders as role models within their teams.   👀 This course provides valuable insights into the science of behavioural safety, with engaging activities and decision-making projects taking place throughout the day.   🙌 The ultimate goal is to have Colas leaders who maintain high safety standards and promote great habits.
