  • 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲: SILC Module on the Impact of Childhood Poverty Experiences on Adult Life 2023 PUBLISHED 14 NOVEMBER 2024 ❱ This release looks at intergenerational poverty through the lens of poverty indicators and social conditions. ❱ The results are based on the responses of people aged 25-59 years in 2023 and their household experiences when they were teenagers, such as the employment status of their parents, highest level of education of their parents, financial circumstances of their household, and whether they lived in an owner-occupied or rented accommodation. ❱ Households that are excluded and marginalised from consuming goods and services which are considered the norm for other people in society, due to an inability to afford them, are considered to be deprived. ❱ The consistent poverty measure looks at those persons who are defined as being at risk of poverty and experiencing enforced deprivation (experiencing two or more types of deprivation). 👁 To view a selection of key findings: see the attached image 💻 Read the key findings in full: https://lnkd.in/e-8PmyFe 👁 View the infographic: https://lnkd.in/eQQ5kiJF 📻 Listen to the audio files: https://lnkd.in/ekNtvvak 💻 Examine the data tables: https://lnkd.in/e34gsNmZ 👁See the background notes: https://lnkd.in/eGJnTH5T 💻 Browse other CSO statistical releases by theme: https://lnkd.in/dkTSzWRu --------- 𝗖𝗦𝗢: Trusted for 75 years and counting. • 𝗖𝗦𝗢 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲: Vehicles licensed for the first time October 2024 PUBLISHED 11 NOVEMBER 2024 ❱ The vehicle licensing figures are compiled from data supplied by the Driver and Vehicle Computer Services Division of the Department of Transport. ❱ The data provide details on the number of private cars, goods vehicles, motor cycles and other vehicles licensed for the first time in each city and county council, classified by make and size, during a given month. ❱ Registration and licensing figures may differ in a given month for a number of reasons, some of which are outlined below: - Vehicles registered in the latter part of a particular month may not be licensed until a later month because of the time lapse between registration and first licensing. - In some cases, a vehicle may be registered by a dealership in advance of a sale. - Registered vehicles which are not used in a public place (e.g. tractors for use exclusively on the land) may not need to be licensed. 👁 To view a selection of key findings: see the attached image 💻 Read the key findings in full: https://lnkd.in/ei5hVGtM 👁 View Ireland's Top Motors - Interactive Data Visualisation App: https://lnkd.in/eGZe32Cj 💻 Browse other CSO statistical releases by theme: https://lnkd.in/dkTSzWRu --------- 𝗖𝗦𝗢: Trusted for 75 years and counting.
