Our Accessible Media team are delighted to announce that we have installed two bespoke tactile Map Boards at Coventry Station in collaboration with Avanti West Coast🚆✨ These inclusive, accessible, sustainable boards offer disabled travelers at the station a wide variety of accessibility features, including braille and tactile elements, sign language and audio described content (accessed via QR codes), and enhanced colour contrast, empowering individuals to navigate the station independently. The Al Wasl, the centerpiece of Expo City Dubai was named after the Arabic word for “connection”. It's a word which aptly describes what the Al Wasl Plaza represents to Direct Access, as we credit much of our growth on the international stage to our first contract with Expo City. From our involvement in the delivery of accessible and inclusive experiences at World Expo 2020, to our later work on the redeveloped site of Expo City.
