  • Further progress on #HousingForAll with signing of contracts for a turnkey acquisition of 35 social housing units at Drumrooske West, Donegal Town. Works will now commence on site and be delivered in 2 phases of development to provide high quality and sustainable homes for the Donegal Municipal District area.   • 🏚️ The Council recently completed two contracts to Design and build 21 social houses at Barrack Hill Carndonagh and 10 at Carn Road Gleneely. The contractor, Lowry Construction Ltd, will undertake these developments. These much-anticipated developments have already commenced their design stages, with on-site construction works to commence in February 2025. These developments will provide high-quality, sustainable homes for 31 families in the extended Carndonagh and Gleneely areas.   • Donegal County Council would like to thank all members of the public who participated in the third in-person public consultation for the Letterkenny Southern Network Project which took place Tuesday 26th November 2024. A public display of the consultation material will be available until Tuesday 31st December at the Letterkenny Public Service Centre (Foyer). Opening hours 9:00am – 4.30pm (Monday – Friday). Public Consultation brochures and feedback forms will be available from reception. All consultation material is also available to view online at the council’s consultation portal where submissions can be made electronically. Go to consult.donegal.ie for more information.
