Many thanks to our members who enter a team in our first ever “Big Biz Quiz” sponsored by Staffline Recruitment Ireland. We had a fantastic turnout with 30 teams with Ktf Housing taking the top spot. Lots of fun games, a brilliant quizmaster in Steven Campbell who set up a quirky but fun night. Thanks to Eugene and the staff of Kennedys Bar great venue and even better service. We hope all our teams enjoyed the night and we plan on making an even bigger event next year so save the date Thursday 27th November 2025 at 8pm. Event 2 of 3 this week and it was something new. Today we hosted the British Embassy as part of our Embassy Visit Series but we had a change up in format instead of one to one meetings companies had a round table meeting with the Embassy representative. F.C.A.,A.I.T.I. at the meeting today were Steven Peck, ZOMA, Advantage Forwarding Ltd, Great Northern Distillery, Enerview Solutions, IFM Limited - Industrial & Farm Machinery Ltd. Our first of 3 events taking place this week (Busy Week), with the Ambassador and the Commercial Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ireland to Ireland visiting Dundalk to meet with local companies. The Ambassador was welcomed by Chamber VP Hanna Laatio McDonnell and PRO Paddy Malone. B. Comm. F.C.A.,A.I.T.I. as well as Chairperson of the Louth County Council Cllr. Kevin Callan B.L. and met with local companies Great Northern Distillery, Keen-M Imports Ltd and Grace O'Malley Spirits. Thanks to Local Enterprise Office Louth for the use of their facilities.
