Delighted to be taking part and representing County Longford in the LEO Village Tent at the National Ploughing Championships 2024 taking place in County Laois this year. As Longford Local Enterprise Office have been a reliable business support for us from day one. We attended the briefing yesterday held by Local Enterprise Offices, it was very professional as always and a great opportunity to meet other local businesses. Televised on RTE news, The annual National Famine Commemoration was held in Edgeworthstown today. An important first for County Longford, where An Taoiseach Simon Harris unveiled a memorial plaque for the victims of the Great Famine. Corten steel, laser cut and finished with an aged sheen look, part one of a two stage commission by Longford County Council.
