Fintos Electric Cars

Fintos Electric Cars is the trading name of Hyper Speed Technologies Ltd. This company based in Ireland was set up to design and build electric cars. This car has its origins in the EU funded Vital Program, which was administered by Queens University Belfast, Dublin City University Invent Centre and the IT in Dundalk. The team are currently working on a 2 seater lightweight composite car called the Spika. The chassis is of aluminium carbon fibre construction. 2 AC axial flux motors drive the rear wheels. Battery power comes from a bank of advanced lithium-ion modules stored underfloor. The doors are scissors type doors easy access. Range of this car is almost 600kms. Production will begin in mid 2021.
