What are the key factors for success when setting up a digital innovation company in the current macro environment? A huge thank you to our speakers Grace O'Donnell, Dr Harriet Treacy and Dr Edel Crehan for sharing candid insights on their startup journeys in asthma, weight management and mental health at our most recent Health2.0 event. It was inspiring to go behind the scenes and discuss what drives them to make an impact for patients at Phyxiom, Beyondbmi and MYNDGARD - Helping Therapists gain better insights into Young People's Mental Health. Kudos to Gareth Shaw for moderating an engaging panel discussion. Some of our favourite takeaways: 🤍Patient-centricity is key: “Humans first and THEN tech” 👩⚕️ Make sure you have truly validated the need you are solving for with patients and clinicians. Don’t be afraid to pivot if it’s not working 👨👧D2C is a valuable way of getting to know the needs of the patient population you are serving. User engagement is critical to really understanding whether what you have built is valuable. 🍂We loved the engaging discussions on how we can collaborate to address the challenges and maximise the opportunities for impactful digital innovation in healthcare. Thanks to everyone who braved the autumn rain to join us! 🌟A huge thanks to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) for continuing to host the Health 2.0 Dublin community in their inspiring Albert lecture hall, and to Laura Brady for the great collaboration to make this event a success. Watch this space for next event details coming up soon! ~ Health 2.0 Dublin team Cc: Gareth Shaw Lorcan Walsh, Ph.D. Alette Ramos Hunt Sophie Madden Orla Veale RCSI Innovation PS.
