🎉 The 2025 UCD Hult Prize winners: Charge Eire! 🎉 Pitches at the social entrepreneurship competition ranging from Tinder for job searching to AI solutions for accommodating and supporting autistic people in the workplace. ⚖️ Intense competition from the 10 teams left a tough decision for the judges. What were the winning social entrepreneurship businesses? 🥇Charge Eire: Repurposes discarded batteries into sustainable energy solutions. 🥈NutriFlow: Captures the nutrients of agricultural runoff. 🥉 Anaphero: Early allergy detection wearable devices to save kid's lives. Massive congratulations to all the teams who took part and making it a tough decision for the judges! 👏 The UCD Hult Prize didn't happen overnight and there's a few thanks in order. Last Friday, the MDP class took part in an insightful Design Thinking workshop led by Dorcas Réamonn from UCD Innovation Academy Through hands-on activities and real-world applications, we explored creative problem-solving techniques that put the user at the center of innovation. Dorcas’s expertise and dynamic approach made the session both engaging and thought-provoking, equipping us with valuable tools to apply in our professional and academic journeys. Another inspiring class of entrepreneurial educators in the Netherlands finishing up the first week of our Professional Certificate in Creativity and Innovation for Education. This collaboration is the centrepiece of our partnership with the Dutch school group OMO that will equip hundreds of educators with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to deliver transformative learning experiences for students in the 21st century. We are now in year two of our collaboration with OMO and its committed educational changemakers. OMO is a network of 68 secondary schools founded in 1916 that educates over 61,000 students with the support of 6,800 staff. Our programme kick off was facilitated by our entrepreneurial education champions Alan Morgan and Jacinta Owens and supported by a fantastic team in OMO Susan Timmermans Jan Vermunt Patricia van Berkel Kelly Edwin Verlangen

With creativity, collaboration and €2,100 in prizes, 12 incredible ideas came to life.
