It was great to have a cross-functional team visit us from the Clayton Hotels Galway, lead by Rory Fitzpatrick and arranged by Bruno Taveira, Sustainability. The Clayton Team along with Irish Trees Limited, worked on clearing invasive, non-native *Cherry Laurel from our woods at Dunsany Nature Reserve. This work is hard, but so important, making way for native Irish Tree Planting, conserving and revitalising these ancient woodlands. *The Cherry Laurel acts like the infamous Rhododendron, blocking light and smothering native plants, offering very little to biodiversity. What a memorable day and great to see it captured on video. Well done and thank you to Matt Johnston and the team EPIC Conjoint on their ongoing commitment and collaboration with Irish Trees Limited. It was great to share the day with the crew from Tiglin and hear about their work from Aubrey McCarthy and then to have been spellbound by the inspirational talk by our friend Breda McCague before the heavy conservation work began. Thank you too to Wayne and his pack of wolfhounds for the greeting and to Randal Plunkett ( Lord Dunsany) Rewilding and Cinematography guru for capturing the day on behalf of EpicConjoint.

Fantastic couple of days of learning with the crew ( Roisin and Robbie) from the Dúlra Project, sharing their techniques for managing the invasive species as part of woodland health and conservation. It was great to share learning as we work with our Corporate partners to remove Cherry Laurel across the woodlands of Dunsany Estate to make way for forest regeneration with Native Irish Trees. Irish Trees Limited Trees had another fantastic Corporate day yesterday at Ireland's largest private rewilding project with our partner Dunsany Castle and Nature Reserve. EPIC Conjoint and Matt Johnston brought their international team to see the impact of their Tree Planting patronage and invited their charity partners, Tiglin participants and leaders, including Aubrey McCarthy. Together we some conservation work, removing invasive trees to create light-filled areas for native Irish Trees to be planted later in the year. We also had the mighty Breda McCague give a spell-binding talk on 'Legacy' in the middle of ancient woodlands, and the day was topped off by having 9 wolfhounds walk with us through the estate. I am not sure What you are doing to give back to your community, What you are doing to give back to nature, What you are doing on your Corporate team days but let me know if you would like to explore how we could work together.
