About us
itag & itag Skillnet is a network of over 150 companies involved in, Innovation and Technology along the AtlanTec Coast. Our member companies range from micro start-ups to local multi-nationals with a strong emphasis on the ICT Sector. itag is a non-profit tech association whose mission is to develop technology innovation along the AtlanTec Gateway. As leaders in tech collaboration, we connect members through networking events, tech talks, social events and by hosting upskilling opportunities through itag Skillnet for leadership and future skills development. We collaborate with third level institutions, government agencies, professional bodies and international partners, to drive our members’ shared commitment to the ongoing sustainable development of our tech community. We provided training that creates a positive impact on staff levels, company loyalty and ultimately customer satisfaction by procuring and running relevant and timely courses to address training needs identified by our members. Training covers both upcoming trends and themes allowing members execute upon their current plans by skilling and re-skilling their workforce in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cyber Security, Cloud, DevOps and Software Development. We host itag's Tech Talks, an independent community which unites IT professionals and initiates knowledge-sharing events. We provide an independent platform to IT specialists to share impactful insights and build a strong community based on respect and knowledge. We are also very proud of the AtlanTec Festival and the impact it has had on the ICT sector over the last 5 years. AtlanTec is a Technology Festival with over 20 events and runs over April and May each year. The events include Site Visits, Members Evening, Digital Woman’s event, Teen Tech events, Tech Tag Rugby tournament, Tech Music event, and off course the cornerstone of festival The AtlanTec Conference.
