#throwbackthursday The Paper Exchange is a large, 11-storey Grade A commercial office development situated in the heart of Belfast on Chichester Street designed by Todd Architects and brought to life by main contractor Heron Brothers on behalf of developer Chichester Street Properties. We worked closely with the Design team in Todds from January 2019 to create a bespoke specification for this project to incorporate high grade ironmongery, electric locking, door automation and riser door systems across all 11 floors of the building. The brief from the design team was to create a high-end, luxurious finish throughout and this followed through to every single detail and component specified on the project. 🚪✨ Enhancing Accessibility and Safety at Grand Canal Plaza! We’re proud to have collaborated with MCA Architects and T&I Fitouts on the successful refurbishment and retrofit of a building in Grand Canal Plaza. From the initial design phase, our team worked closely with the project team to deliver modern, efficient, and accessible door automation solutions. Highlights of the project included: ✅ A fully automatic sliding door system for the main entrance, complete with full-height safety pocket screens, ensuring compliance with EN16005:2012. This upgrade replaced manual swing doors, providing safer and more reliable access for all users. ✅ Automated swing doors installed throughout office floors and accessible bathrooms, enhancing functionality and inclusivity. #throwbackthursday We worked closely with the design team in Niall McLaughlin Architects to design and provide all internal steel glazed screens and doors offering impressive heights of 3 metres allowing for a massive expanse of glass and light in the building, both fire and non-fire rated with beautifully slim steel frames in a combination of EI30 and EI60 integrity and insulation fire protection. The slim steel profiles of the glazed doors and screens throughout the building, in an unusual olive green powder-coated finish, offer a beautiful contrast to the surrounding exposed brickwork and are installed in both single and double-size variations with integrated access control and hardware.
