    Director Keelings

Today marks a significant milestone for me, as it was my last day as CEO of Keelings. It has been an emotional day, especially considering I first started working with Keelings during the school summer holidays 40 years ago. My overwhelming emotion today is gratitude—gratitude to all the fantastic people who have worked with me over the last 30 years to build Keelings into the amazing company it is today. I will deeply miss the joy of collaborating daily with such talented and values-driven individuals. While I am stepping back , I look forward to continuing to support you all in my role as a Non-Executive Director on our Board. My gratitude also extends to our wonderful suppliers and customers, who have generously shared their wisdom and allowed us to learn so much from them, this I believe has significantly contributed to Keelings’ success as your partner of choice. I am immensely proud of all that Keelings has achieved, and I look forward to supporting our continued success. Thank you all.

  • This year’s theme for International Men’s Day is positive role models and we are delighted to celebrate all our colleagues in Keelings who are a positive role model for their friends, colleagues and family members. As we celebrate our colleagues, we are keen to recognise the importance of becoming role models ourselves - by breaking stereotypes, promoting equality, and supporting mental well-being for all. On this International Men’s Day have a think about who are your male role models that have inspired you in your life. Let’s celebrate their impact and continue creating a world where positive examples shape a brighter future. #InternationalMensDay #PositiveRoleModels #Keelings #IMD2024

Last night, our Keelings Retail Procurement Team took home the prestigious Best Risk Management Award at The National Procurement Awards!   This is a fantastic achievement for not only our Retail Procurement Team, but the wider Keelings business. This recognition highlights our continued dedication to excellence in procurement, particularly in ensuring accessibility to top quality fruit at affordable prices for our customers.   Following a stringent process, and against strong competition, being recognised in this category is a testament to our team's commitment to embed risk management into our procurement strategy and also reflects our leadership in shaping the future of risk management in procurement.   A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in making this possible, including our customers and the entire Procurement Team.   We would also like to congratulate all other finalists and winners! #NationalProcurementAwards #Keelings #RiskManagement #Procurement #Retail Robert Doyle, Paul Vaughan, Naufal Ahmed

  • Our colleagues in the UK recently donated 13,500 portions of easy peelers to FareShare UK as part of their summer campaign. We also had a number of our Keelings colleagues in the UK volunteer with the organisation, packing some of the supplies to be distributed to charities across the UK. The FareShareUK summer campaign aimed to create ‘first tastes’ for children and young people across the UK with a variety of products, including fresh produce. The food was supplied to the charity 'Nippers' who said that they don’t spend anything on food, other than what is provided by FareShareUK. We are grateful to be able to support the work of organisations, like FareShareUK, donating healthy and nutritious food to our local communities. #FareShareUK #volunteering #BetterFoodBetterWorld #Keelings

  • We are thrilled to have welcomed our 2024 graduates, who joined Keelings last month and will be working across various functions at our offices based in St Margaret's and Ballymun, in north County Dublin, Ireland. In their first week, the graduates took part in an induction to learn more about Keelings and what we do. Our graduates will be getting involved in the operations and day-to-day running of Keelings and understanding the different components of our company, giving them the opportunity to develop key skills and collaborate with our teams across the organisation, both in Ireland and internationally. We’re delighted to have them on-board. #graduates #Keelings
